I know what you're saying and why, but I ask you one question: If change comes from somewhere that isn't logical and out of superstition, will you resist it? I mean, people are always talking about how fucked up our situation is in this world, why not embrace ANY sort of hope for change?
I actually believe that any sort of change MUST come from an unorthodox place that has to come from somewhere outside of the "intellectual boundaries" that trap people. Look outside the box and embrace the unknown for once, you may enjoy life a lot more and feel more fulfilled...
i'm always riding your jock on posts, but this is exactly what i was gonna say.
i'd be more concerned of what the hindus think about this.. afterall.. they were the first ones into this typa shit.
um, hindus are very positive spiritual people, the basic hindu belief is that everything here is for balance. Nature, spirit, civilization, they just belief that we must keep a balance, they believe that all disease and sickness is caused from an imbalance of your energy, going from schizophrenia to cancer.
They believe hate and lack of love stem from an imbalance as well, but the whole part i don't like about the hindu culture is the strict following of the caste system but that was implented by political leaders and incorporated into the "culture" because then it caused people to follow more righteously.
Outcasts are treated horribly, and sadly they believe that these outcasts deserve this from birth because supposedly in their past life they must have done something bad for them to be born into that caste level.:ermm:
I actually haven't done research on what they believe will happen in 2012 but i would suggest that they believe in a spiritual awakening, and hopefully a reconnection with our energy within us, and that is pretty obvious with the sudden yoga movement, and the popularity of meditation in western culture.
Love can never bring unhappinness...only the lack of it.
