i was confused and so are other people that was a kneebar that mir won by not an anklelock.

and does anybody think he held on to the kneebar for slightly too long? i dont want to say he was intentionally trying to injure brocks chances in the ufc but you dont hold a kneebar for like 2-3 seconds longer after they start tapping

He held it until the referee told him to stop. If you notice he didn't pull anymore once he felt him tapping he just held it in place and looked at the ref. They've had fights in the past (Lindland/Bustamante) where someone tapped and the ref either didn't see it or acknowledge the tap and the other fight was able to continue. After the beating Mir had already taken he wanted to make sure he won before letting go.

Last night i hit up this party at this little club and i got to see a little of the fight, and i just peeped it on youtube... Brock was doing good, poundin the shit outta dude, and he did avoid what coulda been a earlier submission a few times but spinnin round dude, but he kinda paused when he stood up and dude took him down good..

I dont think he held the submiddion too long... If You watch, the ref kinda sat there looking at Lesnar tap for a second.. Then decided to call it a match

this is kind of a win win situation
lesnar learns from a mistake, will get better in mma and possibly become great
mir gets a boost towards a nice comeback
yea i was talkin to someone else about the whole Lesnar thing.. Hes gonna learn like you said, and come back with something else... If he loses again he will take something else from that.. If he gets maybe a few submissions down instead of just trying to brawl, and he learns reversals for submissions he can be a beast IMO
