I'm quite acquainted with China's history. But what does that have to do with what the country is like now? Just because they had a socialist lead revolution and Mao tried to institute his brand of communism in the country, that means it's communist now? Please. Try another one.

Read about what China is like now. Read about their political and economic decisions in the past 25 or so years. Some even more modern history & economics lessons might be helpful to you.

And just because they have a political party that is in charge that happens to call itself by the name "communist" does not mean the country is communist.

They might as well change the official name of the party to the "Capitalist" party. It would fit better.

Coldblooded is right, there arent any true communist countrys left. Russia's downfall is when Stalin came to power. He completely distroyed what Lenin and Trotsky fought for.
