jason terry was lightin shit up last yr. tyson chandler has been a defensive beast for the past 6 yrs. jason kidd was ballin last yr. Sean marion was ballin and JJ Barrea was ballin too. and i love how u keep ignoring the fact that Lebron had no talent around him Cleveland. Tony parker has Tim Duncan and Ginobli. Kevin durant has Harden and westbrook. Lebron didnt even have an allstar player on his team in cleveland. and how was/is it a cakewalk to the finals? u think the pacers series was easy? are u kiddin me?.. and what do u mean by "padding stats?" if hes just "padding stats" with 28pts a game, how come evryone else duznt score 28pts a game? u act l;ike Lebron is trash. Dallas last yr roved to be the best team. TEAMS win championships, not individuals. Amd u are forgetting how much of a DEFENSIVE THREAT LEBRON IS TOO. HE CAN GUARD POSITIONS 1-5. i dont understand why ur so mad at Lebron? lol u get alot of joy and satisfaction at seein someone else come up short.
I like how you hype up all those Dallas players yet for the exception of Dirk none of them were all stars last season. As for the cavs why do you continue to bring them up? last year he was on the heat(a team with talent) and still choked, he left Cleveland due to "not enough talent" ended up in Miami with the same results so stop mentioning Cleveland that is all irrelevant now. We will see if this season is any different. Also how do you not understand that the east is a "cake walk" the only team in my opinion who was going to give the heat any trouble was the bulls but we all saw what happened to them. Maybe I just see what the West has to go through, so i think the Heat should feel fortunate. One more thing stop contradicting yourself, earlier you stated TEAMS need 3 stars in order to win a championship, in other words you're validating why Lebron went to Miami, and I brought up the Mavs to show you Dirk (the only star on the mavs)took over all those games in the finals in the 4th when it mattered most in order to beat a squad with 3 STARS, so your theory is incorrect. You can continue to throw all the LeBron stats my way but they mean nothing I hold lebron to different standards than you do, especially after the constant Jordan comparisons. I could care less what he does against the knicks/pacers/celtics or sixers. All those teams are nowhere near ready for the talent that is the Miami Heat, I want to see how the 3x MVP does against the Thunder/Spurs. teams who are complete and can bring it every night, teams with legitimate closers still in their prime. Also no i don't enjoy watching people come up short, you just made me feel like "King James" did last year after game 6 of the finals. By the way with 100 million sitting in his bank account i hardly think Lebron ever feels like he came up short.

Look here is why I don't like Lebron. Sure all the championship teams being discussed here were made up of very talented people. Dallas last year was a solid team, Kobe had Gasol and Bynum, and Boston had the first big 3 of the recent era.

At the time Lebron decided to team up with Wade in Miami I would have ranked the players in the league as follows.

1) Lebron
2) Kobe
3) Wade
4) Durant

I have no problem when talented players want to team up and because frankly it's not possible to win championships without other talented guys. But I do have a problem when top 5 guys team up with other top 5 guys to win.

Even when Boston's "big 3" got together, none of those guys were Top 5 players in the league, maybe not even Top 10. Kobe is the only Top 10 player on LA, and Dirk was the only Top 10 player on Dallas.

Lebron and Wade are both Top 5 players imo

Jordan had a talented team, but he didn't demand to play with Magic, he wanted to beat Magic. Kobe has a talented team, but he doesn't want to play with Durant, he wants to beat Durant.

That's why I don't like Lebron. He should want to beat the Kobes, Durants, and Wades of the world, not join them.

Taking it a step further, in the 2010 MVP voting Chris Bosh finished 12th. So the year before they assembled they technically had the #1, #3 and #12 players in the entire NBA. Bosh had just come off a career year where he averaged 24pts 11rbs over the season and that's Miami's third best player. Even when Shaq joined Kobe, Kobe was just a rookie coming off the bench playing 15 minutes a game.

Funny how they beat Indiana without 2 of their big men (Pittman and Haslem). Not counting Bosh because Wade and Bron should be enough to roll over most teams.
I don't think it's funny at all actually. You know how many minutes Pittman played over the first 7 games of the playoffs? ZERO. And then he played a combined 6 minutes over the next 4 games. He is a nobody. As for Haslem, he plays about 15 minutes a game off the bench. Even when Bosh went down he didn't get the start. The only player worth noting as far as not playing with the team is Bosh. Nonetheless they pulled out a victory L @lucy510 and they should get some props for that.

This is the problem.... Everyone says what Lebron SHOULD do... Why SHOULD he do that? Who makes these rules? It's ok to team up with someone who is a top 10 player, but if you team up with a guy who is a top 5 player you just broke some unwritten rule that you nerds made up? Give me a break

Just like you are making an argument that we should like Lebron if we like (insert other player here)?

I'm not saying you have to like the guy. You can dislike him. All I'm saying is people discredit him as a player because of their dislike for him. I don't LIKE Kobe, but I won't discredit what he does on the court.

Also, I don't think its yours or anyone's place to say what he should or should not do.

^^^ Kobe is better offensively then Lebron. Lebron barely can post up. Hes the worst clutch player thats suppose to be a superstar ive ever seen. Worse of all hes a he just plain quits on his team at times and hes way to cocky considering he never tried to improve certain areas in his game. People love to hate Kobe also but he is the ultimate competitor and tries to improve every way possible. Kobe plays for the love of the game and Lebron plays for attention imo

He wants to be regarded as one of the greats but his actions are contrary to what great players in the past have done. It is being said that if he wants to be great, he should be approaching things in a different manner. I, just like many others, have no quarrel with his game on the court (other then his flopping and crying), but his off-the-court antics are why he is such a dispicable human being. For those reasons I can not stand him. With that said, there is no doubting he is the most talented player in the NBA.

So if you graduated from school and were supposed to be some briliant baseball guy, and the dodgers and angels wanted you to be their VP, but ESPN came in and said we'll give you X amount if dollars to announce it live on tv, you would say no???

In sticking with LeBron James as the example and the fashion in which he announced his decision; If I was already making in excess of $40 million per year - absolutely. I would have told them NO. Then again, if my team was finishing the season out as the #1 seed in the NBA, and I had just reached the NBA finals, AND I was born and raised in the city/state I was playing in, I would have never left to begin with. But that's just me I guess.

No that's just you disagreeing for.the sake of arguing and tryin to prove some mythical point...

He is no different than a college recruit. If you're from Dayton, Ohio and you're the top point guard in the country. Are you gonna choose Dayton over North Carolina just cuz you're from there?

If you remember the list I posted, I had him as the number one player in the league.

I just also happen to think he is comparably high on the bitch list.

Its one thing to hate him I just think its dumb to say he doesn't deserve MVP and he'll never be a top 15 player and shit. That's just dumb. 30 points 18 rebounds and 8 assists is pretty fuckin weird. If you watch a game his all around game is insane. I guess he just has to win some championships very soon or he's always gonna look like a dousher. The choking thing is pretty valid thus far in his career. If he woulda signed with the Lakers I wonder how different the opinion of him on here would be.
