Just stop already, seriously! Of course that team turned into shit when LeBrick left, why? because along with him everyone on that team bounced including the head coach. The owner decided to go into tank mode in order to aquire the #1 pick just like he did when he drafted LeBrick. How can you even compare that situation to the Denver situation where the knicks traded away the entire house to acquire MELO. LOL @ the bulls not being terrible without rose, losing to the sixers who would be lucky to be an 8th seen in the west was terrible, with or without rose. If Rose is there they sweep them.
it was mostly the same players on the team when Lebron left... so yeah... the team was TERRIBLE without Lebron... Lebron was that team

and I'm not saying the Bulls were great or even really good without Rose, but they weren't nearly as bad as that Cleveland team was without Lebron. and remember Chicago lost Noah as well, had he not gone down it could have been different

please, miss me with that bullshit. players in every single sport have always left teams as free agents... yet somehow Lebron isn't allowed to do that. what a load of shit.

and no, he didn't have a good team in Cleveland. that's bullshit. look how awful that team was when he left. you can look at great players leaving other teams, and the teams still being good. example: Carmelo left Denver, and they were still a playoff team, Chicago has still been solid without Rose (they lose their series, but weren't terrible, Cleveland was fucking TERRIBLE when Lebron left... like the worst team in the entire NBA... he was the only thing that team had going for them. you're full of shit.

I do agree it was dumb to sit there and have that big show thing in Miami and get on stage talking about they were gonna win 7 rings or whatever. I totally disagree with them doing that, and don't think they'll win that many rings, but it is what it is.
did you even watch cleveland play??? they had a good team with a good coach and even a good bench. everyone left when lebron did and it was left with newcomers with no chemistry and a brand new coach with a brand new plan. what the fuck you expect is gonna happen when a team is gutted that deep? Melo left and thats about it. they still had there great coach and all they're teammates were together for a minute so they were still solid.

and i dont mind that lebron did what he wanted in free agency but it still shows the type of player and competitor he is. the dude left his home city and his team he practically built up into a contender just to take an express route to a chamionship. thats just not what greatness is. any player i consider great would never do what he did, he didnt even tell anybody what he was doing, only a chump ass would do that to a team that helped create who he was and what he was capable of doing.

we aint saying he isnt allowed to do that. not at all. but when you put on this aura like you are the king, the chosen one and you jump ship because you dont like how things are going, and 2 other men conspire to go to another team, then you lie that oh we didnt plan this. cmon bro. then the whole decision piece, stringing 4 other teams when he knew damn well he was going to miami.
He is a great player, dont get me wrong, me personally we shouldnt be holding this dude up on pedastle when some of his actions have been questionable. i'm sure a few championship rings down the line will erase all of that for most of us.
and the team in cleveland wasnt that awful because he lead them to the finals. but yes they are complete trash now and will be for a very long time lol
I just never understood that whole thing... teams aren't loyal to players, so why should a player be loyal to a team? fuck that.

because all the great players in the NBA who we consider icons never did that bro. a king, a chosen one, would stick it out. Its different in the NBA versus the NFL. But thats why a player like peyton manning gets hella respect, not only for his attributes but he stuck it out with the colts and won a ring with them thru all adversity. thats hella commendable and respectable imo.
also if you gonna leave a team, then let your fellow teammates KNOW! your band of brothers who you been playing with for years and you bail on them. nah bro, FUCK that.

you just dont get it do you. and yeah cleveland was SUPER loyal to lebron's every need. they tried everything in their power to get this guy anything he wanted. If a team is fucking you over then by all means do what you have to do. shit even if you want out to win an easy chip then please do so. but if you do that you're not a true MVP or even a great player IMO. sure this guy has all the talent in the world but with no heart and no desire to even have the ball to win it it drops you down 50% in my book.

EVERYBODY SAYS PLAYERS WOULDN'T DO IT THATS USUALLY CUZ THE OWNERS PUT TOGETHER THE TEAMS WITH MULTIPLE SUPERSTARS... WHEN GP AND THE MAILMAN WENT TO L.A. DID KOBE AND SHAQ GET MAD AND SAY GREAT PLAYERS DON'T DO THAT?? NOPE THEY WAS HAPPY TO HAVE THEM AND THOUGHT THEY HAD A RING GIFTWRAPPED... WHEN KOBE WAS THREATENING TO LEAVE THE LAKERS CUZ THEY HAD NO TALENT IT WAS ALL GOOD... BUT LET A LEBRON LEAVE AND HE'S VILIFIED... AND HE WAS IN NO WAY OBLIGATED TO STAY IN CLEVELAND... HIS CONTRACT WAS UP... WHY SPEND ANOTHER 6 YEARS IN SPORTS HELL??

gp and karl malone were in the twilight of their careers. not a good comparison at all imo. on everything if they woulda left in their primes, they wouldnt have the respect they have now bro. good point but not a good comparison.

mailman was not in his prime and neither was GP. and they didnt conspire against their current team at the time to try and go to a great team. it was an opportunity and they took it. Kobe wanted out because of the coach aswell. there was bad blood everywhere and yeah he spoke his mind about what he wanted but it truley shows the heart he has for sticking it out.

and AGAIN lebron can do whatever he wants. i wasnt even mad when he went to miami. but right then and there i realized truley who he was a player and stopped caring about him completely. then this same guy who proved he quits wins an MVP trophy????? it's fucking stupid to me. i can see if he was the only one playing good in the league but you had other guys who deserved it more on heart alone. this dude doesnt want to be involved in winning a chip, he wants to be driven to one and reap the benefits and it shows with his play when it really counts.

The team loves you till you get injured, then its fuck the player,he got to go. I've seen it happen to many times in the nba, these teams don't give a shit about these players so why not go play somewhere else when your healthy. Chris paul,Mello,Lebron, and Bosh did the rite thing as far as there health is concerned. Having to do everything on the team night in and night out breaks a player body down. What happen to Iverson? After all those injuries he started getting, putting the team on his back night in and night out. I could say the same for rose. He put his team on his back last year and this year he tried to do the same and shit hit the fan. Only time will tell what the bulls do with him,if he comes back and doesn't have all that speed everybody loved.

no YOU don't get it. I'm the type of person that's gonna do me. if I have an opportunity to be more successful elsewhere, and I WANT to go there... that's what I'm gonna do... fuck everybody and their opinion. you can stick around at the same job for your whole life because your manager and your company has been loyal to you... have fun with that

anyways, of course Cleveland was loyal to him, he was/is ARGUABLY, the best player in the NBA. why wouldn't they be loyal. they needed him more than he needed them. they TRIED to get him help, but they weren't able to do so. Lebron would have stayed, but nobody wanted to play with him in Cleveland. The Lakers go out and get Gasol and Bynum to help Kobe, Cleveland gets Mo Williams and a 50 year old Shaq to help Lebron....

teams will be a loyal to a player when they need him, as soon as they feel they don't need him, they'll drop him like yesterday's news. that's the point I'm making. People aren't saying it's fucked up for Indy to let Peyton go after years of loyalty, because it's business.... they did what they felt was best for team, and people respect that. Lebron did what HE felt was best for HIMSELF... so respect that.

Iverson fucked himself over man. injuries had nothing to do with it imo. His attitude stinks and he always wants to start.
but i think you and all you other lebron fan boys missing our point. dont claim you the king, when your motives and actions arent kingly or comparable to previous kings who you try to be like and emulate.

He was crowned the king before he set a foot on a nba court. The media crowned him king and he ran with it and got rich. The media was coo with it so was everybody else till he started not meeting expectations, that people and the media set up for him before he set a foot on a nba court.
