Very valid points, except for the fact that Bynum has missed half the season with an injury, and Gasol has only been on the team for 2 1/2 months...So really, they're left with Odom, Walton, and Mbenga. LOL.

Oh yeah, and you forgot Peja.
Yea I did forget Peja, but still, what good is anybody in NO without CP3 running the team? LA still has a pretty solid team without Kobe, what is NO with no Paul?

yeah, except now LeBron is out of this argument. The mvp is between two people that it should rightfully be between.

I'm not gonna feel kobe got ripped off if Paul ends up with it. He deserves it, too.

who cares. the mvp will go to a player in the western conference while the eastern conference will own an nba championship..........

if kobe gets the mvp pau gasol should get co-honors. like it or not.

but as a side note, and as an avid kobe hater, i must admit he has stepped up this year in the role of a leader. he is actually playing team ball and is maturing far beyond his prior years.

anyone here wanna take the lakers over the celtics or pistons in 7 games? put your money up.

word. paul is as worthy a candidate if not more than kobe due to age. they both have "not much of note" to work with considering the results they produced but without gasol, paul would have run away with this award.

The best player & the MVP winner are 2 different arguments!! LeBron is the best player in the game period!!! The MVP this year is between Garnett, Kobe, & CP3!!! The MVP doesnt go to the best player! Its a combination of things!! At this point I dont know who I take!! Its that close!! Got Em!!

CZAR, what did Kobe say about LeBron that makes you think he took shots at him?
Thizzput up a article with Kobe talkin in one of these threads! I aint gonna searcg for it, but maybe thizz can post it here. He was basically downplayin LeBron for MVP a while back when it seemed LeBron was the front runner at the time, and downplayin the east! U have to read the article. But Kobe has always been immature like that in my eyes! Atleast he tried to play more team ball this year though! Got Em!!

^^^ Thats funny cuz Lebron and Kobe are "suppose" to be so great of friends. Kobe has always been selfish but this season hes actually played a hell of a lot better team ball

Kobe was wrong for what he said but I think you took it out of context. That still doesnt change the fact that everything he said was 100% true.

What do you mean "tried to play more team ball" he played phenominal team ball this year because he finally has a team.

That's true... it was hard to play team ball with bums like Kwame Brown and Smush Parker. I would have been a ball hog too... you see Dwayne Wade laid it down for the rest of the season (Smush is on the Heat right?)
