Hey, dude, thanks for the serious answer. That's all I was lookin' for.
I understand that Nick is constantly on the defensive, "Strange Music can do no wrong" thing... it's unfortunate he has to be that way. Esp since I wasn't tryin' to call out any wrongdoing.... just trying to find out how shit works. Like I said, I don't go to a lot of concerts... I don't know how shit works.

And, Nick, before you jump all over my ass. I understand why you respond the way you do. I've seen the ignorant shit posted on here. It's just frustrating sometimes when I have what I consider to be legitimate question to have to read through a bunch of "I'm sorry you missed your momma's curfew" kind of bullshit.l
read that again....that was my only response to your comments and questions.......i thought it cleared it up....the jokes about the curfew and shit was directed towards michampin, not you.
And for the record i'm not defending anyone....you asked how it all works and i tried to explain it.
Shows aren't going to start right when the doors open. You gotta let everyone get in.....which takes about an hour. Not everyone is going to show up RIGHT when the time on the ticket states. So the people putting on the show may hold up the acts a bit to get a larger crowd. I'm not saying this does or does not happen at tech shows. Also at most shows where there is a DJ....like this one.....it's his job to get the crowd hyped up before the first act goes on. And furthermore, the time on the ticket.....thats when the doors/gates open.....not when the opening act goes on. If having to wait an hour and 30 mins after the doors open to hear the first artist is too long for some people then so be it. Thats what you sacrafice for being the one of the first people there.
Later start times happen more often than not. As for the show on saturday....(i guess this would be the part where im defending strange music)....Tech was scheduled to go on at 12.....and he came pretty close to that i think. So in the end everyone was able to make it home before their 1:30 curfew.

besides getting hit in the head like 5 times with those damn samplers, and stupid fat bitches dancin in front of me, i'd put that concert on #3 on my fav tech shows been too list...
i'd got me a hella cute tech n9ne shirt...theres hella shit now, shorts like 3 diffrent shirts and of course those thongs with techs face on em!! oh man i'm gonna get one singed and hang it on my wall...
anyways ths show was tight and pretty early....

lol...we were planing on going, but those 9 blunts caught up with us cause we got back to the house we were stayin at, forgot all about it, ate some food and went to bed, lol.....

The show was off the hook, I would have to say that it was the hottest show I have been to literally....I had alot of fun, there was a chick sitting on the front of the stage that I felt like punting off during BG's show, but hey whatever works for her..ha!!!
About the show starting late...when the time is set, there are alot of things that come into play like...the sound system, and the main thing...have you ever tried to keep about 20 guys together and on time....they all have shit that nedds anbd has to be done before they go on to do all that for you...
And because of that, they are Never right on time..

Not so many of them smoke weed, as they are busy getting shit done....
As far as ending up like DMX, doubt it...I can say that I dont recall any other show that started 2 hours late, that is for sure...maybe a little late, especially when they are traveling from out of town. But Lawrence is close...I don't know if or who went on before BG, but I don know that I had Greed's clothes, and I got there by 10:20, and he went on like 10 minutes later...
There may have been a couple other acts, or groups that were supposed to go on before BG that didn't make it or something...who knows...
