And Niners fans... why are you mf's in this thread? If you don't care why show interest by replying?
Why does it matter which team we like? I'm simply stating that nobody really gives a fuck about Lane Kiffin. But let's get real here, the only reason you started this thread is so you can ride Al Davis' dick and make it look like his scenile ass is not a sheisty bastard by trying to make Lane Kiffin look as bad as possible. I'm telling you nobody cares, and nobody is going to change their mind about Al Davis just because you're trying to discredit Lane Kiffin.

I mean what exactly are you trying to accomplish? Do you wanna make it seem like the raiders' failures were all because of Lane Kiffin by trying to make him seem sheisty? Is this a sorry attempt at pumping yourself up for next season by telling yourself Lane Kiffin was to blame for everything and now that he's gone the raiders will be a good team?

What's your true motive?

WHEN YOU SAY NOBODY CARES- WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU MEAN? DO YOU MEAN THAT YOU DON’T CARE? OR NINER FANS DON’T CARE?

BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT RAIDER FANS CARE, AND WE BOTH THERE IS A GANG OF RAIDER FANS.

RAIDER FANS CARE ABOUT KNOWING THE FULL TRUTH OF WHAT HAPPENED IN OAKLAND BETWEEN LANE AND AL. WHY? BECAUSE IT AFFECTED OUR TEAM.

SURE, IT’S EASY TO DEMONIZE AL WHEN HE IS THE BIGGEST REASON WE’VE FALLEN UPON HARD TIMES THIS PAST 6 YEARS. BUT LET’S LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE OF WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN HIM AND LANE. HE HIRED A YOUNG, DISREPECTFUL, INEXPERIENCED PUNK AND LATER HAD TO OWN UP AND ADMIT IT WAS A MISTAKE.

LANE KIFFEN HAS YET TO PROVE THAT HE IS A WINNING FOOTBALL COACH ANYWHERE. LOOK LIKE HE’S RUBBING PEOPLE THE WRONG WAY SOMWHERE ELSE NOW.

OBVIOUSLY, RAIDER FANS WOULD BE INTERESTED TO KNOW THIS. SO WHEN YOU SAY “NOBODY CARES,” WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU REFERRING TO? IT’S A PATENTLY FALSE STATEMENT.

I already figured it out:

There it is.

It's just one of those things.. Like when someone says "nobody listens to techno." Obviously somebody listens to it.

I just think Tony had an ulterior motive for posting this, which I explained above, and that is what I was trying to say nobody cares about. By saying nobody cares about Lane Kiffin I'm trying to tell him that bashing Lane Kiffin is not going to make anybody think differently of Al Davis.

If you really do care about Kiffin, that's cool.

I didn't post this to bash Kiffin and to make people feel different about Al Davis. I don't care what people think about Al to tell you the truth. So you're wrong... what you think and what you know is different. I posted this because Kiffin is exposing himself and like an idiot, it's going to hurt his case that he has in regards to getting the rest of his contract money from the Raiders (and Al). Obviously he doesn't read his contracts before signing them...

and what's with him stealing all these coaches? I guess Al was right about Kiffin trying to steal his dad when he was in Tampa, but Al didn't let him because the Raiders org would have gotten in trouble for tampering....

Homie if that were true you wouldn't be defending him constantly. You're always coming to his defense. If you didn't care what others thought you wouldn't feel the need to come to his aid whenever someone speaks on him. So either you're lying or you're subconsciously riding Al's nuts.

I'll let you guys discuss this without any further debate. I didn't think anyone would give a fuck about Kiffin. You raider fans didn't seem too upset while he was still there. I mean it wasn't like Niner fans hating Nolan or anything. We showed contempt for that moron for quite some time before he got booted so I'd expect every Niner fan to hate him. You guys didn't show nearly as much hatred for Lane Kiffin while he was around so I didn't think he would bother you guys too much. I guess I was wrong.

Yeah...pretty much every Raider fan here except for Tony.

As for the topic, Kiffin isn't helping himself by continuing to run his mouth, but no way does this make him 100% the bad guy with his situation in Oakland. It takes two to tango and both him and Al should be blamed for what happened.

Looks like the Gators are coming.... This article is posted for those who are "interested" in the Kiffin saga....

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/print?id=4011940&type=story

Defending BCS champion Florida opens spring practice Wednesday, but the Gators clearly are thinking of this fall's showdown with Tennessee.

Peeved by the verbal jabs from new Volunteers coach Lane Kiffin, several Florida players say photos of Kiffin are posted throughout their locker room, a reminder of what will fuel them come Sept. 19 in the Swamp.

Kiffin's response?

"First, I think it's a neat thing that Tennessee's logo is all over Florida's locker room," Kiffin said, smiling, during an interview Tuesday morning with "ESPN First Take."

"We have great respect for Florida and Urban Meyer and what they've done there," he continued. "It's a big-time place and big-time program. I don't think bulletin-board material makes a difference."

Kiffin does not deny, however, his efforts to increase Tennessee's visibility in order to get into the heads of the top high school recruits nationally.

"We need them seeing our logo, we need them hearing about Tennessee," he said.

Kiffin has cut a wide swath through the SEC since being introduced as Tennessee's coach on Dec. 1.

In early February, during a post-signing day recruiting breakfast celebration in Knoxville, Kiffin accused Meyer of violating NCAA rules by calling recruit Nu'Keese Richardson while Richardson was on his official visit to Tennessee.

Richardson, as it so happens, had changed his commitment from the Gators at the last minute and ended up signing with the Volunteers.

The only problem is that calling recruits while they're on visits to other schools is not against NCAA rules. Kiffin was reprimanded by the SEC and ordered to apologize.

"I couldn't believe what he said," Florida junior safety Ahmad Black said Monday. "Not trying to be cocky or anything, but we've beaten them four years in a row ... by a lot, too. But taking shots at our coach is like taking shots at us. We're family. It's definitely personal now."

Kiffin denied again, however, making inflammatory comments about South Carolina when he was talking with recruit Alshon Jeffery, a wide receiver who ended up signing with the Gamecocks.

Jeffery and Calhoun County (S.C.) High School coach Walter Wilson told ESPN.com that during his recruiting pitch, Kiffin told Jeffery he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players in the state of South Carolina if he signed with the Gamecocks.

"Who knows where it came from," Kiffin said Tuesday on "ESPN First Take." "But there's no reason for us to negatively recruit."

On the day Kiffin was introduced as the Vols' coach, he said during the news conference that he looked forward to embracing Tennessee's traditions and "singing Rocky Top all night long after we beat Florida next year."

"That's OK, because they've got something coming," Florida center Maurkice Pouncey said Monday. "[Kiffin] went public with all his stuff, but we'll do all our talking on the field. That's when we'll have something to say about it."

Yep, you're right.... Look

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/football/ncaa/05/08/Kiffin.ap/index.html

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A total of 11 Tennessee players with scholarships have left the Volunteers football program under new coach Lane Kiffin, including four since the end of spring practice.

A team spokesman confirmed that wide receivers Ahmad Paige and Tyler Maples, offensive guard Darris Sawtelle and quarterback B.J. Coleman have left the program since the team's Orange and White scrimmage game on Apr. 18.

Kiffin, who was introduced at Tennessee last December, said during a Big Orange Caravan stop earlier this week that he only wants players who want to play for the Vols.

Tennessee is allowed a total of 85 scholarship players each season under NCAA rules.

Oh yeah and this is what Terdell Sands had to say about Kiffin as well...

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/raiders/detail?entry_id=39491

Raiders defensive tackle Terdell Sands is from Tennessee, so the topic of new Vols coach Lane Kiffin was quick to come up in an interview with his hometown paper.

Sounds like Sands wants to do a number on Kiffin's face they way he did Shane Lechler's last season.

"I think he'll do a good job at Tennessee because his personality will fit better at that level," Sands said in a Chattanooga Times Free Press story Friday. "You can't cuss and fuss at grown men and persuade them to do things the way you can a college kid. But he'll be a good recruiter of young players because he's a good salesman.

"I just don't think he needs to be an NFL coach. I didn't care for him too much because he came in with the attitude that he was a top dog even though he hadn't earned any stripes yet."

Sands was even nastier to former offensive line assistant James Kregg, and he didn't play on that side of the ball.

"That man is a clown," Sands said. "He gets no respect because he quit on us in the middle of the season (actually December). He jumped ship. Maybe some of his guys liked him when he helped with the offensive line, but I've got no use for anybody that quits like that."

Sands' more immediate concern must be to please head coach Tom Cable, who has all but called out Sands and the other returning tackles -- Gerard Warren and Tommy Kelly -- to play better against the run this season.

Sands has been a disappointment ever since signing a four-year, $17 million contract before the 2007 season. With Cable high on new addition Ryan Boschetti, Sands could very easily get cut in training camp if he doesn't get it going.

Then again, he could get cut even sooner than that. Last year, the Raiders released veteran safety Stuart Schweigert in May after deciding he was replaceable by the new crop of rookies.

If Boschetti and undrafted pickup Desmond Bryant look good at minicamo next weekend, Sands better make sure he looks even better.
