Haha nitro said the Fakers can come back from 0-3, damn are u already given the Fakers a loss in game 3?? Haha!! I know it must suck, and to see how Ko-me is a non factor so far this series!! Yea he has scored some points, but he has hoisted up several shots and he is shootin booboo this series, so yes he is gettin shutdown!! If u think not, and u think Ko-me is havin a great series, then that shows how biased u are!! And Logic I know it hurts that u thought the Suns were gonna beat the Spurs but I told yo ass that wasnt happening, and so far irs the Fakers that have been borin to watch not the Spurs, so get over it!!! The Fake Show Is Done!! The Run Is Over!!! GOT EM!!!

Laker Fan, the reason it's time to panic is quite simple: It's no accident L.A.'s now 0-6 against San Antonio this year. Forget year's past, it's this year that counts, and this year San Antonio is reasonably healthy and L.A. is entirely mediocre and it's reflected in 0-6.

Also, San Antonio's the best road team in basketball this year, and winning at Staples isn't going to be much more of an obstacle for them than winning in San Antonio.

Also, remember that in last year's playoffs San Antonio led all five games heading into the 4th quarter, before blowing four of the five. Ain't happening this time, obviously. San Antonio's sealing the deal.

Also, speaking of "remembering history", like I said, it ain't a Shaq Playoff Exit unless he gets swept out. Lastnight was the game L.A. had to have, and they were positively destroyed.

Friday night is now literally do or die for L.A.

Prediction: L.A. will be damn fortunate if they can even make it back to San Antonio, but even if they do they'll be packing their beach wear and golf clubs for the return flight home....

San Antonio's simply got too much balance for L.A. L.A. has no answer for Duncan, Parker and Ginobili, and the rest of San Antonio's crew is just too solid and error free. It's shooting fish in a barrel for S.A., defensively, right now, playing against a Laker offense that's utterly lacking in passing, variety or discipline....

damn, the net is still smokin...Those Pick-n-Rolls are a bitch.

For LA to win this series (or atleast put up a fight and win 1 or 2 games and go out respectfully), both Kobe and Shaq gotta score ATLEAST 40 points every game. thats the only way LA will survive this series. Nobody on the squad is doing anything besides the two; scoring wise. Defense wise, you can toss that out the window.

We threw in the towel after the first half, so Hopefully they'll have a new strategy for next game, because this strategy (whatever the fuck that was) obviously isn't workin.

Can you point us to where we were saying a whole lot of shit? If you go back and look, none of us Laker fans created a single thread about any of the victories over the Minnesota even the game where they eliminated them. You might find one, if that, but we didn't gloat for shit. So can you elaborate on exactly what you are implying?

Good shit Deep Thought, thats how a real Guru presents himself, no bullshit, just bein' real. Im not as affected by this series as I have been in the past, I think that is directly caused by not watching the games because of work. For me, right now, its just hearing that they lost the game, yelling at my co-workers, perhaps punching a few checkstand terminals and what have you, and then moving on with my day. After a little venting, it realy doesnt bother me. If I were watching them lose, im sure it would affect me a little different; when they were playing the Blazers in that nail-biting series I was indeed panicing, even my mother was cussing at the television. From a Guru standpoint, I wouldn't bet a friday night drunken late night fast-food combo meal on the Lakers to win this series, but I wouldn't bet against them the same. We have all seen what they are capable of weather that be making up a 27 point defecit in the 4th quater, or coming back from being down in a series. Im just letting everyone talk their shit on this board while I (hopefully watch) my team play this series out. If they lose then thats it, fuckit, if they win, you won't find me running my mouth on this board (unless they win it all). Have you read that article about Jordan and his dynasty? It talked about how his team after winning the first two titles struggled in the third. Jordan said one of the reason he left was he strongly felt that if he returned for that 4th title run, they would not have won it, that they would have indeed suffered defeat. So he retired.. only to come back 2 years later for a few more title runs. Again, he said he left because he knew the run was over... I'll find that article for you when I get a chance but its a good read. I guess maybe im saying its sort of the same scenerio here, not to say the Lakers are going to lose, but as far as their mentality, they are drained. They don't have that will and desire to win anymore. Thats what happens with teams re/three peating. Im just hopin I can catch one or two games on the tube before its over, thats all I want.

I think Kobe is shooting the ball so much because they don't have anyone else that can create shots. Fisher has to be open. Horry isn't confident in his shot. I mean who else can create on the offensive end? And when Kobe does drive and shoot he'll usually draw two defenders which will free up Horry, Shaq for offensive rebounds. That's the only way they can score besides just dumping the ball into the paint with Shaq all the time. I wouldn't count the Lakers out yet. It's close and San Antonio does have a lot of momentum but these are the champions mayne. This series may go all 7 games. I don't see the Lakers going out that easy.

KOBE IS SHOOTING THE BALL ALOT,BUT WHAT OTHER OPTIONS DO YOU GOT..YOU CANT GIVE THE BALL TO SHAQ ON EVERY TOUCH BECAUSE HE'S IN FOUL TROUBLE WITH BOGUS CALLS...SO IT MAKES HIM LESS AGGRESIVE..HORRY STILL STRUGGLIN,THE ONLY OTHER OPTION IS PROBABLY FISHER...ANYWAYZ IM GONNA GET WASTED TONIGHT AT STAPLES,,GO LAKERS AND FUCK THE SPURS AND THIER SOFT ASS MVP..PAYBACK TIME
