Ron Artest said the Celtics stole the Laker's manhood last year...today it showed. Typing up what went wrong in this game is too easy and would be too long. It's funny, Fisher comes back after being suspended and Chris Rock has a career night. The Rockets only shot blocker is out and Kobe doesn't get one freethrow and settles for jumpers. The team plays like shit and during the post game interviews everybody outside of Shannon Brown says they lost because Houston played well, and not because of our lack of effort. If anybody saw what James Worthy had to say after the game, that's how I am right now as well. I hope Magic cusses this team out like he said he wanted to. We'll win the series no doubt, but we can't continue to be complacent and need constant wake up calls in order to be motivated. Cleveland's waiting for them and they're taking care of business until the moment comes. How do we get ourselves to play catch-up when last year everybody's excuse was we just needed Bynum back and we're set for a ring?

^^^ lol, its called the siccness personality, you cant be a butthurt bitch here or you wont last not saying you are. On to the topic at hand, im sorry Lakers is just not the team we all thought they were. I dont think they post up Bynum enough why did he not play much?
Bynum has shown any reason for PJ to give him more minutes? We asked for defense and the offense will come naturally and Bynum declined and whined about minutes. Now he's out there looking like a rookie, making mistakes while thinking too much in attempt to not mess up.

^For real. I'm a huge fan of Fresno State (Bulldogs) and if anyone follows them, they will know the year before last they were playing so terrible that the Bulldog emblem was removed from their helmets and they played with solid red ones until they played more competitively. It might be a little premature to speak of this about the Lakers but for that one game, it was just an embarrassment.

Kobe wasn't playing any D, someone was always open from the rockets, too much 2-3 Zone. Phil should of never started Fisher should of just kept it the same with Farmar instead of fuking up a good nucleus. Lakers thought they had this game won with no doubts because Yao was out lol.

And to anyone saying the Lakers can not compete for a title because they are losing games... let's not forget last year Boston went to 7 games how many times and still won the title? All that matters is the end result. Not how many you win by, not in what number of games, but whether or not you're moving on to the next round.

People aren't doubting the Lakers over just a couple of losses. They're doubting the Lakers due to their re-occuring mistakes, lack of focus, lack of effort, complacency, reliance of offense, no commitment to D, overblown egos for half the team and inconfident weak mentality from the rest. lol. So far the Lakers have shown that they can't get motivated on their own. I've lost track how many times I've told myself "whoo hoo, this team finally woke the Lakers up". Last year they made it to the finals and got flat out embarressed. Their excuse, "we don't have Bynum" and that Boston had homecourt. So we start the new season saying, our goal is to have homecourt in the finals. In the last few weeks when it was really tight, we gave away some games we should of won as if we didnt even care. Now the playoffs begin and instead of looking like the team that's fired up, we play just enough to win, then get lazy. This cycle might not affect our chances against Utah or Houston, but after this round things will get tough. I don't care that the Celtics went through 7 game series and still won. There was a difference in their play compared to us half-assing. If you look around you can find bunch of articles and interviews to find out how the Lakers prepared and felt before the game, they handled it like pussies. lol
they're pissing everybody with Laker pride off(cept themselves, they look like they lost a hard fought game)

One thing that pissed me off more than losing last year was that we gave up so easily. I keep seeing small glimpses of that now.

They got a few weeks to get their shit together, maybe even get a pair of nuts. Yeah yeah yeah, kinda harsh but Lakers need some of that, no more soft shit.

"I still don't know how a team that gets blown out by 39 points in the final game of the Finals need a wake up call"

Teams that are suppose to win the championship don't lose games like this. I think Denver has a real chance vs the Lakers. Gasol vs the bird man should be an interesting matchup.
