I agree that there will always be Isms...And I agree that most whites don't understand the struggle that minorities go through, nor do they care. They have not been exposed to that type of life or environment, so a lot of it is ignorance.

There is where I disagree...White people probably cause their own crisis? I'm not sure where you're tryin to go with that, but I guess you're sayin that white people are the cause of their own problems. That can be said about everyone, I don't know if you were just usin white people as an example, but it does happen to everyone.

You last 2 comments are what I'd like to really get at. White DO deal with crime and discrimination in their own race, maybe it's just that you aren't in a prodominately white environment. I'm white and people discriminate against me pretty often. I'm not the typical white dude tho...I'm 6 foot 6, and I don't look "white" persay...So I got white people callin me a half breed and shit, so fuck the BS....There are a lot more people like me out there than you think....A lot of people in our generation are starting to open their eyes...But now white people get discriminated against just for listening to rap....I was beatin Bullys Wit Fullys 2 the other day and hella people were just staring like it was the popular thing to do, givin dirty looks and shit....

Anyway, there are problems, everyone faces them, some people's issues are just more dramatic than others, and not all are self inflicted...But good points...

@Tay- I what you're sayin, I definately agree the system (this gov't, etc) are not fair or equal for the most part. Somethin you said stuck out to me though...You were talkin about hustlin rather than working legit....That's part of the system, if you don't work then you have to do somethin to eat....if it's not legal than if you get caught you're fucked....It's the wonderful cycle of equality and freedom in our country....

About the whites portraying the "thug image," I think there's a big different between the Malibu's Most Wanted type of white boy and someone that actually understands what's going on. People in general just make jugdements about everyone else without knowning anything about them...That's pretty shitty too cause in my opinion everyone is equal. Nobody is better than the next person, and in most cases I believe that there aren't bad people, just bad situations and choices made. People make mistakes and the system you refer to thrives on that shit.

It really is all about personal relationships, I agree. It's just too bad there's not more people trying to cooperate and find a solution...I know some people that are the "have a nice day" type, even to me that type is really annoying. I know what it's like to have people call you that, cause people have called me that shit before thinking I really was mixed or whatever. It's pathetic that people treat each other like that.

You seem like an intelligent person, I consider myself pretty smart, and we look nothing a like but the funny thing is, we probably get a lot of the same reactions from people....A lot of people are intimidated by my height and features....What pisses me off the most is when people look at you like you're gonna steal somethin or like when I'm at school (I'm in college) people look at me like they have never seen anyone like me....There's a lot of white people at my school, most of them are pretty snobby and think their shit doesn't stink. I could care less if they're white, but snobby people who think their shit doesn't stink should be bitch slapped. That goes for most people at my school though, I've noticed that everyone is like that....People still clique up...It reminds me of fuckin high school that's how ridiculous it is....Many people seem to think because they are at an institute of higher learning that they are better than others, and it shows cause that's how a shit load of people act out here....Like they are better than anyone else at the school....Obviously not, cause they're in the same place....

People in general just need to try to face problems and work through them. People would rather divide and not deal with the issues which sucks because the more divided the people are the more vulnerable they are, IMO....

^^I don't necessarily agree that it all comes down to self....In this country it does, but not in every other one. We hold individualism in very high regard, where as in some other countries the family unit is most important and in some cultures people don't even leave their direct family.
