You Niners fans are foolish if you don't think it could happen.
Anything can happen, but this is very unlikely. Anyone who thinks the Niners would even be near the top of the list of teams likely to move to LA is foolish. The move would make no sense for the 49ers. It would make sense for the raiders because they already have a fanbase down there, which is the exact reason it would make no sense for the Niners. I doubt they would be accepted by all those raider fans from when Al moved the team down there. The Rams have a few fans down there and they're the most likely to move back. Aren't they for sale as we speak?

That's a bullshit excuse. There's probably more shit going on in New York, but they still go to games.
if new york had the weather that la has, alot of new yorkers would prefer to go somewhere else outdoors. it has a lot to do with the weather during the fall and half of the winter months. la is warm year
.

i mean who want to go to a football game, when its a 85 degrees and the beach is a stones throw away.

or you can go to a fams bbq and watch the game there outdoors.

if it didnt work with the rams and the raiders down there in the past, its not gonna work now is it?

why would it all of a sudden work down there now, when it didnt in the past? whats the diffrence this time?

i think nfl is the only pro sport where any team can set up shop in any city and attract a crowd, (except for la).

nfl is nfl, there is more room for teams and players, i see a lot of mid to late round players starting in the league.

but that aint the only reason, the secret to the nfl is if you can attract a home attendance, people will watch the game no matter how shitty it gets. even the fans watching on tv, will watch a football game as long as the stadium is filled up. what would you rather watch a game with below avg attendance or a game at near full capacity?

it is all about image and that nfl brand can carry a teams seal of approval to the public. people would go the games.

what cities could use a team.
la obviously.
las vegas
san antonio
i think chicago could use a second team.
i think sacramento would get one
iowa would be a goldmine, what else is there to do in iowa.
so many more its limitless.

Believe it or not, if you live that close to a beach and you enjoy visiting it, there are actually 6 other days of the week in which you are permitted to do so. It's not a one-day-a-week deal. The beach doesn't pick up and dip out Monday thru Saturday.

We can do that here in Northern California as well, but somehow the Niners sell out every game. I wonder why that happens..? Maybe people don't know about the outdoor BBQ they're missing out on.

I never said it would work. LA doesn't deserve a team, in my opinion. The fact that it didn't work with the raiders despite them winning a SuperBowl while they were down there tells me the people in that city don't care about football. The only thing I said is the "there's too much to do" excuse is bullshit. They simply don't support football in LA and that's why they have no team. It's not because everyone has better things to do, they choose to not support their pro football teams. Period.

LA is all about appearance, and if you have a team come to LA it would have to have stars both playing and attending. They're not gonna get anywhere near the following the Lakers have, but if they are in the public's eye and glamorized then LA people will attend.

Honestly I think the only teams that could go there and have hella support would be the Raiders or Chargers.....I think any other team that goes there would need to change their name & logo. like the Jaguars can bounce outta florida, but they can't be the Los Angeles Jaguars unless they get endorsed by the car company, then it just might work with all the superficiality down there. Rams can come back but they ain't gonna have a big fan base. when they were in LA the Rams were to the Raiders what the Clippers are to the Lakers. Lakers tickets were coveted whereas Clippers tickets were sold at gas stations.

actually I think I heard that rule somewhere... if a team moves to LA they're gonna have to change their logo and name... maybe it's a new rule or some shit... I dunno, but I think I heard that

Well unless that rule is specific to LA, it does not exist. A team can move wherever it wants and keep their name, although if the name doesn't apply to the area they'd probably change it willingly. Like if the Dolphins moved to Arizona I don't think they'd want to keep the Dolphins name. The Steelers and 49ers have names specific to their respective cities, so if they moved away they'd probably change their names. There was no gold rush in Florida so if the Niners were to move there then their name wouldn't be applicable. LA is not known for making steel so if the Steelers moved there they would probably want to change their name. Teams like the raiders, however, have no ties to any specific area in their name so they could take it anywhere, which is why they were still the raiders when they moved to LA. So I guess it might depend on the team's name to begin with.
