i don't know man, i live in the bay but am always down @ LA... them LA cats don't really show bay niggaz that much love as bay niggaz would to LA (i guess because in the past LA was in control and all the major labels are in LA) but it would be DAMN GOOD if LA and the BAY united as 1 to make the hyphy movement super duper hyphy strong! for some reason though i don't see LA going dumb or hyphy... i see them keepin' it gangsta and doin' their own thing... all i know is the westcoast is finna take over and once that happens, there ain't no other spot that will beat us!

I live in LA but, have u been to lLA in the past 3 weeks! DAMN all i hear is E-40 and Keak and as I said yesterday I heard that shyt on KISS FM (The nations most listened to pop station) Its crazy!!!

It all depends where you are at....as I always say, many people from the Bay get the perception that LA don't show em love or fuck wit em...when the truth is that LA cats don't fuck with anybody who they don't already know and who aren't from their neighborhood/school/clique/gang/etc. etc. So it's not like it would EVER be a party in LA that is really "Bay vs. LA"..it might be "[Insert gang or clique] vs. [10 Bay cats at the same party]" but never is it city vs city. People in LA don't like each other so it probably does seem like they don't like outsiders.

I don't see LA cats gettin on the hyphy movement at all. Some of them knock it, but most just know their style is too much different. And personally, that's the best way, because we could end up havin two different movements in the same state that don't sound too much alike. Too bad LA doesn't have a movement right now.

I was in LA thurs - Mon I heard tell me when to go like 100000000000000000000000 times and the DJ's on ther sayin yadida this yadida that. Reppin the bay like its ther own shit, which is coo its all West Coast. But what sucks about power 106 is they play 2-3 songs then 15 minutes of comercials

I was in LA yesterday and they played Tell Me When to go dam near everytime I turned on the radio. They also got some parody song out there called "Tell Me When To Go To The Store" ft. E-Fony. Talks about "Shake them eggs" instead of dreads, instead of gas break he says Beef Steak. Basically hella fat jokes all through the song. And they got some Keak sound alike dude that mocks his part. Its kinda funny but you can tell they tryna straight up clown.

ya, that's real talk. How i see it, LA is known for C-walking... THE BAY is known for hyphy. overall, the WESTCOAST has some of the most creative motha fuckaz on this planet.
