I would'nt bet against Loss Angeles,but as much as everybody watches L.A. to see if they start winnin,people need to realize that the Kings bench got alot better with the addition of Keon Clark and Jim J.Kings are deep as fuck,L.A. has Shaq and Kobe...that's it...they need a 3 or 4 who can score a little and D up.
Nah, in the first title, Portland handed them that trophy with the worst documented meltdown in NBA finals history. Portland doesn't self-implode and no rings for LA. LA didn't so much as win that year as the Blazers lost.
The Kings won, or rather, should have won that series in game six, but instead the 'show was blatantly bailed out by Stern and his cronies looking for a lil extra revenue and hype. Game 7, much like the botched last play between the Giants and Niners, was meaningless, the series was decided beforehand, in game six . Again, I'll admit the Kings didn't have the mental fortitude to come back from a ref ass-raping and that sucks on ice on our part, but also, we should have never been in that position.
