the Raiders aint gonna move 2 LA , but if any team moves 2 another city they have 2 change thier name because its the NFL policy,,,,so if the Raiders moved 2 LA they wouldn't be the Raiders anymore.

it happened when the Browns moved from Cleveland to Baltimore, they had 2 change thier name to the Ravens,,,,the reason they had 2 do that is so if an expansion team would come back to Cleveland they could keep thier Browns name

I think u might have the situation with the browns moving to baltimore and the city of cleveland allowed to to keep the name and history. so when art model moved the browns he just took the "company " with him and had to create a new name. the clevelend browns we know now are actually and expansion team.
