Yes, because the 30 seconds it will take to switch discs twice (there are only 2 disc swaps in the entire game) is so much longer than the 30 minutes it will take to install the game, download the update, and install that before even getting to the title screen.

I don't like playing games on my 360 unless I install them to the HD. In fact, many people don't play their 360 games unless they install them to the HD.
So if it is 30 minutes to install the game on ps3, it is going to be even more time when installing on 360, not to mention you still have to swap the disc when it tells you.

I'll take the PS3 version (it also has an exclusive mission.)

I got one of them pre historic 360's with like 15 gig or some shit

seems like a good game, but no multiplayer is lame, its 2011 ffs.

also no open world mass murdering like gta.. you need this for times when you get bored or to let off some steam

No MP is a good thing. Each disk will probably be around 6 or 7 gig.

No MP is a good thing. MP for the sake of MP sucks.

I have Rock Band 3 installed on my 20 GB Rock Band HD, but other than that, I've never installed a game on 360.

I installed GTA4 on my hard disk.. and when I played The Ballad of Gay Tony on it.. The shit got really glitchy, so I uninstalled the shit.

there's no "real" storyline spoilers in there. that review may have just sold me on the game though.

for those wondering, they said the description of LA Noir being roughly the length of 2 seasons of a tv series feels accurate.

I pre ordered today. The chick was telling me the DLC mission from gamestop is 4 hours long. But she said I wouldn't be able to download it for some time now because of the psn outage but said they would still shoot me the code.

I pre-ordered this from Gamestop too. Don't care too much about waiting for the bonus mission though, I'm sure the story will be long enough without it.
