thats what we're all feeling
Kutty succeeds at boring me with every single verse he has ever spit.

Tech is getting repetitive.

Krizz gets a little repetitive with topics, but all the little things he does to flip game, like the operatic singing of 'I'm so fucking drunk!(or 'gone' can't tell which for sure lol) makes it stand out. I don't listen to club/party shit almost at all, but Krizz makes the shit pop to me. I think its great. Even the tracks I like less are still plenty listenable to me.

I DO wish there was more shit like Anxiety tho, with the insane vocals. However, he DID say he made a point of rapping plenty so that he wouldn't get stuck in the 'singer' corner. Said it in that interview that was just him.

kutty boring? that guy has stepped his game waaay up

tech has tightened down on his subject matter a lot ( bitches, tours, drinking mainly ) but still comes off the wall with shit, he could rap about the same thing 30 times and it would always be done creative in some other way

kaliko on this album seemed more nursery rhyme rhymer ( heavy, chevy, belly etc)
though he had a few verses that were wicked, even the hardest tracks didnt make me move they were lacking the intesity that is usually brought, the lack of the opera style that made him stand out irritated me, the last track (got me where you want me) was great if your in a spot with a chick and the moods a bit freaky i could put that shit on repeat forever, jungle love was awful, mainly cause i cant really sing along without the reminder that im WHITE so it doesnt make sense so its easily skippable even with tech on it. peek a boo would have been killer if tech made an appearance over twisted, i can easily turn the track once they come on. i could go on and on about every song and give a full out opinionated review but why , i just say it was a decent album to me that lacked and for as long as some have been waiting for this album really was disappointing and probably the same outcome with each album until july 1st and hopefully that doesnt come weak

Tech is MAD ill and original, he's fuckin' TECH, his music speaks for itself, I don't need to say what's good about him. lol

Kutt HAS gotten better, but still bored me.

I agree that Kaliko could've come harder with rhymes, but some parts were still hot on that tip. I just can't think of any off top. lol

Sadly, Twiztid WAS bland on the track, although they CAN do much better. I think they would've sounded better on Anxiety.

I agree with all 3 of these statements.

Hell no. Leave Anxiety alone and get Twiztid off Peek-A-Boo while you're at it

wrong!!!!!! they would have fucked up the song.

ANXIETY?................... TWISTID?......................

i would think tech before anybody.

twiztid is good at what they do, but they could never rip a track like anxiety.

its too wicked. even for them.

Krizz did his thing. it was the best track to start the album off with. (im not just saying that because i made it.) it just puts me in that zone that im going to hear even hotter shit than that.

Such a diverse amount of opinions on this album.. and there is quite a bit I can identify with..

kutty boring? that guy has stepped his game waaay up
Can't agree more.. he has evolved immensely.. his album is going to be not something to miss..

tech has tightened down on his subject matter a lot
I can also agree on this.. but that just may be relative to the track he is featuring on, his albums show some range .. Killer should test this claim..

As for the Vitiligo album.. I made sure I heard the album a half dozen times before critiquing it.. it has grown on me a lot since the first listen.. at first glance when I heard the album I thought the first half of the album was stronger than the second..

Random things I have noticed..

- E-40 was much better on the "Bidness" than he was on "Jellysickle", E-40 doesn't do much for me though..

-Peek-A-Boo could of had a better hook.. wasn't bad.. Prozak impresses me with his content..

- Crew Cut is everything Drill Team should be.. Drill team is weak in my opinion compared to Crew Cut.. don't really know why the inclusion of that voice at the end of the track.. thought they would of thought better from Gangsta Shap..

- Rewind is the highpoint of this album, Slow Down, Anxiety, Do Sum'n, What's Sizzlin' & Crew Cut closely follow..

- Collect is probably one of the weakest, Where You Want Me is also kinda weak.. not my taste.. but to all the doubters of Kutt's skills.. he does greatness on this track in his brief appearance..

I still agree that the best quality is found in the first half of the album.. and I honestly feel that if 2 of the weaker tracks were replaced with The Need & Let It Go, I think it would of felt more evened and ultimately much stronger.. Jungle love is a bit hit and miss.. I think the hook brings it down.. but damn does Tech come fast on this one.. has to rival What We Are in its fastest points.. it ending without it rhyming sounds odd..

Overall it's a must-have.. dunno if I woulda said that on first impressions but this shit has grown on me immensely.. has enough variety to keep a Kaliko fan satisfied I would think.. Think this said it best.. it has its songs that i don't particularly care for but in my opinon his worst songs are better than most people's best... and can easily be played from beginning to end, a rarity in itself.

whoever said this is the best strange album is just fucking ridiculous.... after hearing Anxiety and The Need a lot earlier, i thought Krizz was gunna live up to my expectations... but theres WAY too many tracks that dont hit hard enough...

and also i thought that "im so fucking drunk" part at the end was FORCED...didnt work for me

BLEVE was better than this for sure... and to say its the best strange album ever... you must be smoking crack

Im heading to Best Buy right now to cop this album. I've been listent to this album and I have to mention this. This is the 1st strange album that my girlfriend hasnt been mad about me bumping in the ride while she was in it. Now this might not be a big thing to some of yall, but for me it shows that differnt R&B / Party tracks have the potential to attract a wider audience to Strange Music.

Alot of the reviews about the cd so far have been from us, people that have been listeing to Tech and strange for years. We can pick out the rehashed verses and themes and tell where Einstein was sampled on songs. We know that there were albums before this one. I honestly think this is the BEST album from Strange to introduce someone to Tech Krizz Kuttty S&S and the rest of them, just because not all of the tracks are in your face rap tracks.

I want to see reviews from other non Strange forums. That will let me know for sure the true impact of this CD and (depending on how strong Strange can push out a single/ vidieo) how it will impact future strange releases IMO

picked this up at a local record shop yesterday, im on my 3rd listen

liking it so far but there is some filler, and the overall concept of the album falls short of what i was expecting when "The Funkra" was first talked about

The concept was completely changed because he didn't want to fall into the R&B category. The beats on this album ARE COMPLEX, for those of you with shitty or stock systems, you can't hear what you're missing. And saying Anxiety is too wicked for Twiztid is a stretch, Mr. Sanders. They made an entirely rock themed album that slammed anything rock-like on Kaliko's album.
