For the record, this album sounds significantly better on quality speakers. I'm never a guy who says anything in that regard, I'm generally much more concerned with substance, but the difference is incredible between quality speakers and laptop speakers - much more than usual imo

I don't really know what to make of this album... I really can't get into it the same way I do with his other albums. I think krizz is adept at conveying a certain "feeling" or mood in his music and this just doesn't do that to me. Maybe its the more lighthearted direction? I haven't given up hope on S.M. just yet, but the overall direction isn't seeming my cup of tea. Hopefully its just a hiccupp and not a de-railing of (what I want in) a label as a whole... I find the c.d.s I didn't expect to be any good... are, while the can't fails... are failing.

Yea I read this at the TRTN, but maybe Strange is just hitting a rough patch, thats all, and Im willing to stay faithful to the label, because theyve faithfully brought out 10 years of music that Ive thoroughly enjoyed. No need to rip that Strange music decal off your car just yet

I'm diggin the new Kali album. It's quite creative and (as someone else had already posted) not really like anything else out right now. All Gas No Brakes might be the best 816 Boys song so far. Hard Core, Get Active, and Freaks are all tight too. I'm not an R&B fan (for the most part), but I like some of Kaliko's R&B songs too. I Get Around is catchy and so is Elevator.
Some are saying Elevator is a horrible choice for a single, but it may be the most radio-friendly song on the album. Strange hasn't been profitable and growing for 10 years because they've made bad business decisions. Sure I'd rather hear All Gas on the radio (which I don't even listen to), but Elevator is more mainstream. Props to Krizz Kaliko and Strange for doing their thing.

I have listened a couple times. There's a few tracks I like. To me, it all sounds similar. More variety would have made it better. "In My Dreams" shits on all the other songs.
