Wrong. There are a string of white rappers getting record deals and being pushed into the public now more than ever. Mac Miller, Asher Roth, Yelawolf, Kreayshawn, White Girl Mob, Machine Gun Kelly, etc. Again, These takeovers take time, whitey waited and now he's about to make his move to turn hip hop into the white mans music. Bubba Sparks and all those other white rappers were just "testing the water".

Blacks are still disproportionately more prone to poverty, have higher HS dropout rates,are unemployed moreso than other groups and are arrested at higher rates. Yet the music doesn't reflect that no more. Gangsta rap is now "friendlier" because it's been reduced to brainless cartoonish type violence and street anthems (Waka, Gucci, Ross, etc.). While the politically conscioius rap has been reduced to egotistical, uneducated assumptions (Kanye, Lupe, etc.). Notice how none of the mainstream conscious rappers like Lupe rarely (if ever) criticize the white folks...The idiot even suggested that people NOT vote which is a slap in the face to all of those civil rights workers who were attacked with rocks, hoses and K9 units..

i agree with a handful of what you said, but most of it is some bullshit. you don't even understand the state of the music industry enough to understand why.
if you're giving the people supervising and overseeing the death of their entire industry so much credit as to assume they're engineering some sort of white takeover, you don't get it. these motherfuckers are on code red running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to make some sort of semblance of profits to keep their corporate structure intact. they're interested in anything that will make money.
to be completely honest, as far as marketability is concerned it's easier to connect with an audience as a black rapper. white people want to listen to black people, being white puts you at an incredible deficit as far as marketability goes. ask roach gigz.
bottom line is that you care too much about this shit, and you think these people are competent enough to engineer some sort of conspiracy when they're not even competent enough to keep their industry from shrinking on a quarterly basis.

I consider all those rappers underground I have never herd of half of them Roth had one or two hits and Ive herd of yelawolf but never his music and only reason i know kreayshawn is cuz of this goddamn thread. So what if there signed to majors!!!!!! UGK, Spice 1, E-40, Slim Thug, Royce da 5'9, Three 6 mafia, Mac Mall ALL have been or are currently signed to major labels had videos in the top ten on MTV and BET countdown shows and have always been considered an "underground rapper". Being signed to a major dont make u mainstream look at Tech 9 and C-Bo never been on a major but both has sold more than all those "major" artist u mentioned combined
