The talk of the Maloofs and the Ducks has spurred some speculation in Anaheim that the Maloofs would keep the Mighty Ducks there and bring the Kings to Anaheim. But Maloof spokeswoman Sonja Brown, when asked late last month about the Kings moving, called the idea "laughable."
But it is possible to see why the speculation is running rampant in Anaheim that the Kings might be interested in moving.
Arco Arena is one of the oldest in the NBA, and Anaheim's Pond is considered a jewel of an arena.
A proposed financing plan on a new downtown arena in Sacramento fell flat just last month.

but as far as them making more money in anaheim. it does not matter. the way the league works is they get to make the decision on whether a team can move or not and the number one factor is ticket sales. not merchandise sales, ticket sales PERIOD
if a team is selling out every game, they will not allow it. why risk moving them somewhere that already has two teams in the area. you are just setting yourself up for failure. if you dont know this already, LA could make you a lot of money, or put you on the streets. Why isnt there a football team in LA? cause there was no support.
