Its funny how people thinking that the best rapper is the king. They're not looking at who did the most for the south or nothing. This sorry rappin ass T.I think he the king when he has neither goin for him. He's not the best rapper out the south, neither has he done anything for the south. This thing about Atlanta being the capital of the south is pure bullshit too. Atlanta is full of wack ass rappers. The south been on the map before they came thru. New Orleans was the first city in the south to make some major noise in rap. N.O changed the game forever and made people respect the south. Dont get me wrong, u had Geto Boys and Outkast who was reppin for the south before Master P blew up, BUT....they came out with a west coast sound to their music. People didnt listen to them and think of the south. It was still all about the west. But when Master P came out with Ice Cream Man, he brought that New Orleans sound to the mainstream and shifted the attention to the south. Then when he left, Cash Money came and did their thing. Its been history ever since.....
