i appreciate that you uploaded the fight, i forgot about this one. truthfully i was kind of disappointed with this fight, i couldnt figure out why tank abbott was so familair till i realized he had a brief stint in WCW, lol. dude went 8-10 in the UFC and was known for his 'lackluster conditioning' as wikipedia.com put it, he sure as hell showed it here in this fight. tank had no business going against kimbo, it wasnt even a fair match, must have been about the $$$$

i gotta give it up to kimbo though, he went from knocking out dudes eye in that first backyard fight to having thousands of people cheer him in a sanctioned MMA fight. one could only imagine where kimbo slice would be had he started mma training years ago, hed possibly be sitting on top of the UFC heavyweight division. i wonder what lesnar vs kimbo would be like; if kimbo would even have a chance vs lesnars wrestling background and conditioning or if lesnar could even stand a chance vs that mike tyson like striking power kimbo has

I think Bas and the rest of his camp are doing a good job with Kimbo. Sure Tank is out of his prime, but Kimbo aint no spring chicken either. I feel it was a great match up for Kimbo, not only to help boost his confidence, but to bring him slowly in with fighters with more and more experience. Tank..sure he was out of his prime, I do not believe this fight condition was a factor being how quick it ended, Tank just does not have the speed to go toe to toe with Kimbo. Tank has power though and can still be trouble for some of the big guys who want to test there hand skills, but the skill level of todays MMA fighters are much better then the past. I do not think Kimbo is ready for A Lesner..or somebody with a vicious ground game yet, although Ken Shamrock may be a great opponent being he is past his prime when he stopped taking steroids. I think being although Ken would take it to the ground, he would not have the speed , quickness, or power as lesner and this would be a nice tune-up fight for Kimbo, but it would be still a next step for him in fighting a better fighter. You aint gonna see kimbo in with a beast yet..he is worth way too much money for them to risk it all this quickly. I think he has a year or so of building up his record and experience before he is ready for the big fight.
