would u say eazy was lyrical ? i dont think anyone would say that...
eazy just had one hell of a voice and style and hella charisma and was just gangsta with it and broke barriers.. alot of people could relate to him..
i like to compare eazy e with mess they both not that lyrical ( even tho mess can spit some impressive shit from time to time) buth they go hard regardless.. they make you feel them..
eazy's rhymes were simple as hell cubes rhymes are a lil a more complex, but both are not that lyrical as far as multi's, phors, rhymeschemes, worldplay etc. they just simple with it.

Yeah i know he can come clean and i know he use to ghostwrite for alot of people i never said he was wack or not good i said he is not "that lyrical"... cube IS simple with it "most of the time"
lyrically cube to me is very inconsistent he can be real lazy sometimes and and overall he is not a great lyricist if you compare him to some of the top lyricists ( jay-z, nas, crooked i, some of wu-tang, kool g rap just to name afew)
but cubes voice, overall style and gangsta delivery/flow makes up for it tho i still consider cube one of the greats..
and imo mess had some impressive verses too on his earlier work but that doesnt make him lyrical shit even mess will tell you he is not a lyrical type of rapper..
and as far as what people say its just different opinions, but sometimes people on here can post some crazy statements for example i saw someone say "san quinn is a way better lyricist and rapper then yukmouth"

Crooked I had 5 Albums that never got released under Death Row cause Suge played him.......but him being able to drop a solo CD recently has nothing to do with that fact that no major artists(i say major artists to exclude underground/unknown MC's such as me) is fuckin with him lyrically in the west right now, or every for all i kno.......
