Sorry you feel that way, especially since you are going off of what you hear and not what you know for a fact. Unless you work for a major mag or cut a check from a record company you are really just bumpin your gums. Everybody got their own opinion and I respect that but like I said before if you want to see underground cats like keak, mess, fab, etc in these mags then you gotta support or at least send letters make phone calls and let it be known. These people in ny have no idea whats poppin outside of their little box, its up to us to let em know with our voice and our dollars.
My mother in law was tellin me that when her sister went into labor, it was when Roots was on originally. The sister wanted her to go to the hospital with her, and my mother in law said that the only way she would leave is if the baby was named Kunta Kente. SO my husbands cousins name is Damon Kunta Kente Williams, or Jones, or whatever.
