Although I personally think this man is a complete idiot, I don't feel the same towards the man's creative ability. Kanye West is a genius when it comes to making music. Giving some people in here the benefit of the doubt, Kanye is taking his music / videos to another level, so it may be difficult for some people to understand, or appreciate at this point in time.

His latest video, "Runaway" reminds me of "Pink Floyd: The Wall" to which I own & watch from time to time. And I always get people knocking it as, "It's boring." "This sucks!" "What the fuck is this?" "I don't get it." etc. And they always ask with a tone that say's "This sucks." They've already made up their mind, so I usually don't try to explain due to the fact that they perceive to view it all with tunnel vision.

The little that I've heard off, Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is undeniably great music. I tend to view things like this, I had Michael Jackson albums in my iTunes when people were labeling him "pedophile," wacko" etc. And as soon as he died, he again became the "King of Pop."

I've always felt he had great music, end of story. And in the end, that's all that should matter... great music.

Side note: Devil worshipper? LMAO!!!!!! That's the same thing your great, great grand parents said about Elvis Presley & Rock N' Roll HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

I feel the same way I went Out and bought this album in Oxnard and this shit go! love this album I still think 808s and heartbreak is better but this albums amazing I never listen to leaks so all these songs werre new to me and the only song I heard before was the Runaway song cause it was performed at the vmas and he pretty much stole the show with that song. this dude is a good artist hella haters talk shit but he has talent he makes good music and videos are crazy. much respect to dude and one other thing....

come one chree expand your horizons. u cant say the production sucks, shits crazy. piano, electric guitar, drums, all used to perfection. maybe its the rapping u aint feeling? but shit kanye has stepped his lyrical game up imo. i dont consider him a lyricist at all but he can be clever at times

Kanye is in the zone. The music on this album is just so well put together. Hell of a Life is my shit can't stop listening to that song. Ross killed his verse of Devil in the Bule Dress. I hope the music on Detox is this good. If you had or you're currently in a relationship with a crazy/shady bitch then you can relate to this album and 808 and heart break. This is coming from a fan of gangsta rap too. Kanye makes real hip-hop better yet real MUSIC..

shit was trash to me..i liked one song....but i hate kanye...id literally throw a molotov coctail at that nigga if i got too drunk one night. but im glad people enjoy it and im not one to be like 'why do you like this trash!!" i just deleted it and went back to listening to LEP bogus boyz or HD or some shit

im not a big fan of anything kanye but i do like his beats from time to time...i purposely didnt say shit cuz i just dont like his music in most cases but yeah..not really into it dawg

i probably woulda been better listening to waka flockas flockavelli..i dunno seems more like my mainstream cup of tea

i tried..but the one song i liked i liked...i think his writing was good on that song

WITFF was that typa of gayass pretty boy shit??? That package looked more like an expensively manufactured box of chocolates wit a ballerina mustached tomboy in the middle; I was lookin at it like??? LMFAO!!!!!! I would never buy that shit at all EVER!!!; hes so high maintinence as hell man he only makes music for only high maintenence rich spoiled & dumbed retarded lil pretty boys & pretty girls DAMN!!! WTF??? That was an automatic FAIL!!! rite there along wit his overshadowin glamour braggin killin off sum of his mightve been great beats that Ive totally missed out but I still tend to care less & pass...... he shouldve delayed this shit til Feb that wouldve been an absolutely perfect valentines day gift (the best ever) to a mistress!!
