Thats my opinion his beats are killing anything out of here, his lyrics are not the best but clever and actually have substance. He speaks on more than the usual bullshit everybody out here is talking about. The only cats out the bay i'm feeling are Zion I and the Team. Everybody else is on some bullshit.
Ok, let me just straighten this out for everyone. There is no fake thuggery going on in this thread, no one is jealous of Kanye, and no one expects him to act like hes from the Bay.
He is just a faggot period. The dude carries purses, wears the gayest shit you could possibly ever wear, and is honestly one of the worst rappers out there. He has a horrible flow and some of his shit is plain garbage, i.e. this song and "Cant Tell Me Nothing." If you like that shit, you are either just trying to fit in to trendy shit or you are potentially gay like he is. The dude is arrogant as hell with no right to be. put's time into his work unlike maybe "aye bay bay" "rock yo hips" "SOULJA BOY"
also his overall statements in his music.. from "spaceship" to "touch the sky" "family business" and "goodlife"..
check it out tho, if any of yall actually listen to these songs...the lyrics are basically about people that you see in public everyday trynna make a livin..which is maybe you..whether it's trying to get a high paying job from college, or trying to get your music up there through siccness, myspace or what not...

There are 20 something rappers in the Bay alone that would shit on Kanye. I dont know how this dude gets any respect. I think probably because hes number one on TRL. why do people keep saying that??? "theres 20 something rappers that would shit on so and so..." theres less then 10 bay rappers that make it on local radio every year and less then 3 that make it on nationwide tv...an average of 3-5 are signed but usually only 1 or 2 actually get put out...kayne has put 3 quality albums(including graduation) and have sold over 500,000 units each(not including graduation in which i assume will surpass that) won a grammy...and so the reason some of you think he's weak is because...??? how many bay rappers can meet that criteria?? and i luv the bay rap game but ur talkin about one rapper alone who's out sold your favorite local rappers put together and it aint because of his purse....
