I beg to differ. IMO, Malcom X's message was "separate, but equal". Malcom wanted to uplift his own people. To me, it seemed like he wanted Black people to have self-respect and respect for their community before they could respect the White man. It wasn't about hatin' the White man outright.

I wouldn't care if someone beat Kanye's ass. Dude ain't kin to me and he ain't one of my homies. What he did was wrong. Maybe he did what he did for giggles and grins; maybe for attention. Either way, it was wrong. That was Taylor Swift's moment.

What "side" is there to take? What did he gain from doing that? He wanted attention and he got it. Mission accomplished.
