man, I hear aLOT of kc artists and a good few st louis artists too, all underground, the sounds are different.
KC has that ride to flow, its a KC sound that you cant deny.... st louis has a midwest sound, nothing specific all the rappers from stl are dif, they do have more lyrical flow hoever....but kc you cant miss, you know that beat

I can remember in the early 90's when I first started our sound was influenced by people like JT the Bigga Figga and artist like that I think because they were some of the only artist that embrassed us as we did them. I remember when The Click used to come down all the time, I think Romeo Ronnell used to bring alot of them dudes too.
you can definately hear the bay influence in some of the music that's came out of KC... and it never sounded too much like bay music, but alot of us older bay heads can fuck with it like it fits in perfectly... shit like rich the factor, bohn, deco d, fat tone, that 50 mc's compilation, etc
theres some bay / west coast influenced shit from st. louis in the past also... like budwiza (i think big hollis produced his entire album), deadly deuce, sylk smoov, mr. a, etc... but their sound is more south influenced as of late
that 100% game album yaw got from back in the was bay friendly than a fuck... i've been transferring some of those tracks from ipod to ipod since 2002

Wow 100% Game. That shit came out in like 96 and we recorded it in like 94. That album was awful! LOL. Makes my skin crawl when I hear that shit. Yeah that shit was bayish than a mufucka, I was still flippin fast but the production was some east oakland fillmoe hunters point shit! Oh and I apologize for that album too.LMAO
Hey thanks tho man for the support anyway. We recorded that shit on them old Tascam D88 adats and we mixed that shit ourselves, I'm sure u can tell. Then we had King Georges people master that shit and they fucked it up even more.LOL. But we had alot of fun and good memories recording that shit. think I was like 17 cuz I had just graduated high school. Let me shut up I'm rambling.
Yeah I've done 2 songs with Bizzy 2 with Layzie(one I still got that I havent released) yeah Lay is my nigga. Me and Krayzie was suppose to do some stuff for years now but honestly I dont think I'm one of Krayzie favorite people ya hear me. But I would have loved to do somethin with Twista and Tech man they cold at that flippin shit.
To be honest everybody has kinda stepped away from music for the most part. ll-Sikc is doin good, Trone has a Cellular store in New Mexico, and I've transitioned into acting and producing movies as well as focusing on my real estate business so music aint really a priority these dayz. I still get the itch from time to time, I was just in the studio with lil Romeo fuckin around but I aint got the drive for it like I once did. Finesse he still doin his thing, if u go to my myspace page you can get to his from there, he's a talented dude. But thank GOD we all had some success in other things so niggaz wasnt completely counting on music.
I had Finesse in my friends list forever and just now realized it. lol. you should put that "I know" track with you and Layzie up on your page or leak it on here, the one i asked you bout a year ago since it didnt make the soundtrack. That track was tight. and Real Estate is where its at you can get rich quick with the right properties and good luck with the movies. Its good to see the whole squad is doing something positive with their lives and staying out of trouble.

S2theB produced that song, its a sample from Jamie Foxx's first album nobody bought back in the early 90's.LOL I got like 3 versions of that song, 1 with just me, one with Lay, and one with Finesse.
