Didn't he grow up singin' in the church? Thats seems to be how most R&B artists start out. He's also a rapper too though, so IDK. Maybe he feels like he doesn't need to cuss to sell records; the content alone will sell.

I noticed the same shit. I just think he's more mature, man, someone said somethin about being a role model. Makes sense, he just seems to be more kept and presentable. Hell, with how well he does the hooks for most tracks, I dont think Strange or tech n9ne would have amounted to as much as they are today without him.

What I've always wanted to know was this: They say tech met krizz through Seven or who the fuck ever during a recording session and Krizz told tech his hook sucked and helped him on the track and since then it's been on like donkey kong for them two. But what was KRIZZ recording, ya know? He was there putting some tracks together and I'd figure he'd have some old shit for me to sample somewhere... right?

Tech, not to hate, seems kind of generic. Grew up in KCMO... talent for writing rhymes and spittin em fast. Started a label, no time for his kids.. shitty, but... so what? Comes with the job, ya know.

Krizz, however, growin up with vitiligo; crazy ass sister who protected him; gang bullshit, heavy church influence, his funkra... dad took off on him, ya know.

Kutty just seems like a cool cat that has some good tunes, simple.

I dunno, I dont really keep copies of every article and interview I read for citing but I'm nearly positive I read it before genius dropped but after Vitiligo where he got more in depth about what kind of music was going to be on his next album. I could be wrong, wtf do I know, I'm high all the time.
