i lean towards the second option, shooters in the vicinity at all times ready to go, and as soon as they figured out someone from a different hood thought it was good they let em fly.
yeah i hope kafani pulls through and heals back as close to normal as possible, but it's unfair to rich to assume he was directly involved, as a lot of people seem to be. i am relatively certain he didn't have shit to do w/it directly, so to point the finger at him seems pointless and that's gotta suck for rich if he has investigators looking at him w/a magnifying glass now and he really didn't do shit.
