Well, this is only two peoples opinion and it is from a boxing website so they may be more critical, but:
Don kings Prizefighter firt impressions
So far I played a few exhibition matches. The ring is tiny, every AI boxer brawled so far, the movement is mechanical, the graphics are horrible, and the punches are sloppy. Sam Peter is also more agile than Joan Guzman and Joe Calzaghe . So far it seems like a quick cash-in. I'll update this thread when I play a little more....

Prizefighter sucks!
I hate it. Wasted my money. Huge step back from the fight night series. Game play is fukin terrible, graphics arent good. Juan Manuel Marquez looks NOTHING like Juan Manuel Marquez lol, same with Chavez Jr. And in career mode you can only be heavyweight. It also glitched on me a few times already. And the commentary by Lampley and Steward is awful.
We must learn from others mistakes, because we can not afford to make them all on our own....
rent the game before you buy it.

Don King Presents: Prizefighter
Good but not The Greatest.
June 10, 2008 - Prizefighter is hard to peg. It looks good but not great. Fight Night Round 3 looked better. The gameplay mechanics are a bit broken and the cover system is less than to be desired. The fighting seems broken and slow. Your boxer will be executing the punch you told him to do 5 seconds ago when you are now trying to block. However, the career mode is AWESOME! The game takes you through the story of a legendary boxer complete with real interviews from people with in the boxing world. If you can get passed the frustrating fighting and just enjoy it then definitely pick this one up.
