You sound like n8 haha.
"It was all MEEEEEE for tech blowing up in Tulsa!!~!11!1!"
HAHA oh well. The last show Strange put on in Little Rock was at a venue named AppleJack's in 2003. I don't expect anything from the label, but they always repay me in some way at the shows. That's the big difference in me and Nathan.
The River Market District in Little Rock saw three straight weeks of promotions on telephone poles, mail boxes, inside free magazine racks, on park benches, near high traffic spots like ATM's, etc.
The Best Buy's, Hasting's, game and cd stores, pizza places like Papa John's were all tagged with promo. Not to mention I have hundreds of friends in the area, and they kept the train moving when I was at work.
And hell yeah I'm taking credit for this! They're coming to the Rev Room at the River Market, and I put forth the thought of getting Strange back into the area by talking with a booking agent and letting a few major Strange Music details slip into our conversation. Things like the top selling independent artist is their label head, his huge Juggalo following and so on.
Whether or not people like Juggalo's, they are an unstoppable cash cow force in Little Rock. Twiztid packs the tiny Juanita's venue just up the block from where Strange will be playing in November.
Prozak also has a huge following down this way. There are multiple outlets to gain money in Little Rock, and the area should be utilized to further solidify the label's fame.
