Stevie stone was dope as fuck at the clive show but his voice mixed with the ridiculous amount of highs from the board made it a little hard to enjoy. The whole show was like that i dont know if it was just the venue (concrete floor) but the highs deff needed to be toned down imo. I was center stage and my ears rang for at least 48 hours after the show..

I think it's those new speakers they have for the tour, because I was hearing a lot of the ambient sounds in the beats, but not a lot of high's.

just got back from the Columbia show and I have a feeling my ears are goin to be ringing for that long too

it wasn't just the highs...EVERYTHING sounded too high. the music was too loud to begin with and all I heard was drums and reverb and it sounded like they had to turn the mics up (too loud) to compete with the instrumentals. might just be specific to the venue, but the sound guys should take such things into consideration.

or maybe i'm just getting old.









probably a bit of both. :cool:

It's the new equipment they're working with. The bass on some tracks was non-existent, and all you could hear were vocals during some songs.

They've never had a problem with sound at any show in Springfield in the last 3 or 4 years.

So it sounds like some of you wasnt feelin the Slaughterhouse set? I remember some crazy videos of ther show on RTB and Paid Dues. Im still looking towards to seeing them a lot.

Even with new equipment shouldn't there be some compensation and fine tuning going on from the mixing board? Whats a sound check for? Both serious questions as this is outside my field of knowledge ..

Good thoughts, either way.

I can tell you that there was way too much going on yesterday, and they were a little understaffed because of the set design, and didn't get a traditional sound check. The openers did a blanket sound check and that was it. None of the other performers did a sound check.

Me, Ant, and our street team were helping with setup inside before and after the meet and greet, but even then they didn't have enough to make the transition process quicker.

I'm certainly not making any excuses for the sound problems, but it's gotta be something as Scenario and Brother Al are both professional sound engineers, but there were nonstop issues for our show.

Kaliko lost his monitors, Joell and Crooked I both had problems with their mic's, all performers had reverb during their sets, and Scoob had too much backtracking.

No one in Tuc-Town Knows Tech Better Then My Boy Raul.....

but to let you know more about da fiz, shit im all up on that strange music nutin gets better the only mutherfuckers worth my ears to liston to is tech and eminem but yea u wanna know anything else get at it bro.....
