The Detroit Tigers get Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis from the Marlins for Andrew Miller and Maybin (can't remember his name at the moment) and a few prospects.

holy shit!

The Tigers got over on Florida bigtime, they didnt even have to throw in Willis and it still would have been a better deal for Detroit.

2. Renteria
3. Cabrera

5. Ordonez
6. Guillen
7. Pudge
8. Jones
9. Polanco

Just because you haven't heard of the players Florida got doesn't mean they "got over" on them. Tigers got better in the short term and the Marlins got 2 monster prospects and some other could be greats.

they did get over on them.

those "prospects" might not even pan out for all we know, meanwhile the Tigers get the best young hitter in the entire league who hasnt even reached his prime yet. Maybin might be one of the best players in the future though but that is still uncertain. Cabrera is the real deal for sure, that we do know.

"Get over on them" is so retarded.

This is what the Marlins do. They always have. No one got over on anyone.
Exactly. No one got over no one. The Marlins gave those dudes away.

What I find odd is that the Marlins are steady bitching about money, but I am sure they make a KILLING with revenue sharing. Especially with a payroll that will be in the teens more than likely.

And they wonder why no one goes to their games.....

THE Giants have been given a proposal for Lincecum. Alex Rios, Lind, and a prospect or Troy Glaus, from Toronto. But I would replace Glaus with a Prospect. Maybe instead of a prospect trade for Jeremy Accardo back?

Are you kidding? Verlander, Bonderman (Didn't fall off, still young), N. Robinson, K. Rogers, and D. Willis as the starting Rotation. Not to mention the bullpen with F. Rodney and Zumaya! They are stacked, as long as they can all stay healthy.
