you wont be able to just swap hard drive and play cuz the ps3 will recognize a new hdd and want to reformat cuz it diff serial numbers or whatever

Those are all PS3 exclusive, and the only games I've played on it, but they're all pretty good, especially inFamous and Killzone 2.

So what if I wanted to to swap it into another PS3 that's like the one I have now? My little brother has countless hours of saved shit on that HD (it's a 320gb that I put in about 6 months ago) and I don't want it to go to waste. Anyways it looks like my problem is with my blu-ray laser, since I can play regular dvd's just fine. Anyone ever swap out a laser? I've looked it up and I'm pretty electrically/mechanically inclined so it didn't look hard at all, just curious.

i just copped resistance 2 collectors edition at toys r us for 29.98. You might wanna look for it their cus its cheaper than the regular version.
