i fuckin love new orleans. my favorite city in the states.

i was there about a year ago and the 9th ward was still kinda ghost townish.

my girl and i have been considering moving there (not the 9th haha). hope you enjoyed some great grub and music

theres tons of spots but my favorite cajun place was in Belle Chasse by the Naval station i used to work at. Place is called Lil Gs my favorite dish was the deep fried soft shell crab, straight crack

There's hope but it's absolutely no doubt in my mind that they forget about certain parts on the city. Areas that are still torn the fuck down with no future in sight, not to mention it's close to 6 years since the shit hit down here.

I love living here cause everywhere else just seems weird but there's no doubt shit's changed.

Unless you got some shit lined up I wouldn't recommend it. Decent jobs are hard to come by down here and if it wasn't for the recent wave of BP money they handed out motherfuckers would be struggling even more than they are now.

BP IS ABOUT TO CASH OUT THE RESIDENTS AGAIN, MY NIGGA WAS TELLIN ME IN A COUPLE MONTHS MAYBE THEYLL BE CUTTIN ANOTHER FAT CHECK

I was in new orleans in 2008, fucken fun... but yea my ass didnt go on no "projects" tour lol
I did volunteer to help do rebuild a school in the hood, but beside that I was getten drunk on the strip, and chillen at the casino

nice pics!




I'm thinking of apply to grad schools there, because might be easier to get in, cause don't no one wanna move to the N.O haha

They cut down on the second checks big time. A lot of people thinking that check 2 was gonna be on some big money shit but it really wasn't. I got my second check not that long ago and the way I look it at .. that shit was free money. I wasn't personally financially affected by it and still got broke off.

..and most people around here spend all their money on dope, I'm sure over 30% of FEMA money went straight to dope or liquor. Didn't think it'd be much different this go around.
