IM IN THE WAITING LOUNGE AT THE COURTHOUSE RIGHT NOW. THEY SAY AFTER TODAY IF U GET SELECTED TO A CASE THEY PAY YOU $15 BILLS A DAY. IM TAKIN THIS AS A LIL VACATION FROM WORK. RATHER BE CLEAN AND CHILLIN THAN GRIMEY AND COVERED WIT CHEMICALS FOR A FEW DAYS. HAS ANYBODY BEEN ON JURY DUTY OR YALL SKIP OUT? I JUST KNOW FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS I HAD TO SKIP OUT CAUSE OF THE NAVY.

Showed up to the court before, told the lady at the desk I had a felony...she just told me 'You can go.' and I was like 'Go where?' then she said 'Home.'

So I bounced.

Also, you should ask your employer if they have jury duty pay, my job at the time gave me 8 hours of pay for being out on jury duty, even though I only spent like 2 minutes at the courthouse.


Just took the rest of the day off after that.
