Yea but you also liked Harsh Times. I would guess 99.9999% of people that liked Harsh Times would say the same thing. And if you think Scarface is the pinnacle of film making then it isn't that unreasonable for you to have liked Harsh Times.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Scarface is probably the most over hyped, overly praised, film I can think of. It is no where near as good as the status it has been given.
You're way too harsh on harsh times. It's not a bad movie at all.

I agree on scarface though, way overhyped and it's like because everyone sees their favorite actor/rapper/celebrity have it in their DVD collection and list it as their favorite movie, everyone else lists it as the best movie as well. I think it's top 20 or 50, but not the best. Great acting performance by Al though.

I also liked Godfather II more then I. de niro was dope.

i like scarface more....maybe cuz im half cuban and my dad talks just like the mafucca or cuz i like cocaine...haha.....i just always thought it was stupid they chose an italian to play a cuban but he did a damn good job anyways.....
Al Pacino is Italian? Man i never knew what that mutha fucka was? he's been every race in movies. If he could pass for half black he'd prolly play that roll too.

Ok, I believe you. Explain to me why it is a good movie.

I liked II. With II, I can respect the difference of opinion and see why people may like II more than I. II gets better every time i watch it.

But I liked the parts with Pacino more than De Niro.

I feel De Niro's part in that movie wasn't anything special, that people give him too much credit just because he is De Niro and only like his part because it is De Niro not because of a spectacular job, and feel that his part was so mediocre that a decent actor could have pulled off just as good a performance - though they'd never get the same credit because they aren't De Niro.

Who ever said I thought it was the pinnacle of all creations, sadly you are mistaken. What I had said was that I thought it was a better choice. And 10 pages of you going on and on about how every movie people list here sucks is just sooo just ugghh lolz...it would be refreshing to hear you agree you like something instead of hearing all the negative pinpoints why that was bad or why it sucked.. I can admit and agree with people when I'm wrong or I like their choice, but why is it so hard for you? Godfather was okay. I liked scarface more but I think godfather was a good movie 2.

You asked me to name the best movie. I did. You came back with Scarface. What's the point of mentioning Scarface if it was not what you consider to be the best movie? That was where the discussion that you started was at.

I can admit and agree with people when I'm wrong or I like their choice, but why is it so hard for you?
It isn't hard at all. People who have proven to have respectable opinions get respect regardless of disagreement.

You have, thus far, only given me examples that reinforce the fact that your opinion is pretty shitty when it comes to movies[yes that is my "opinion"]. So, at this point, I hold little to no regard for your opinion other than if you like something odds are it should be avoided.

You have also shown no reasoning for me to respect how you arrived at your opinions on movies other than they must entertain you to some degree. That's great. People are entertained by monkeys throwing shit at eachother too. That doesn't mean I should hold any amount of respect for them or their opinion.

I just have a good deal of disdain for those two due to their political stance and their being Cuban only when it is convenient to be Cuban.

Your intelligence of how you so came to the conclusion of my movie choices and what I perfer amazes me, wow, its quite astonishing but honestly it seems to me you love to be a critic and make judgements based on your own personal knowledge in life and your ways which you haven't at all impressed me with what you've said here and debating with you may as well be going back n forth with a monkey..I will end my discussion here with you as obviously it gets no where and outwitting me, by all means please enlighten people here of your logic but I am not at the least bit about to entertain your discussions and judgements of others. Your choices were only yours and many like different things in life, I'm so glad life isn't one dimentional towards just a view point of yours, that would be quite boring if so..continue, do continue...I have more important business matters to deal with and bigger fish to fry..adeu..

If I had to pick a lame choice versus juno- I would pick amelie..that was a strange movie but much better strange then juno
I thought Amelie was a really good movie and I don't think you can compare it to Juno. It is a really different type of movie though not like any American movies (or any that I can think of) but I just thought the Gnome napping thing was really funny and when she called the one phone number and they asked if she had a bush. It is kind of a random humor and Audrey Tautou is hot (she looks better in the Da Vinci Code) so I guess that made the movie a little easier for me to watch the first time. But Juno was just garbage to me and I don't see why everyone hyped it up.
