2007 was a shitty year in movies? Maybe for huge blockbuster movies that usually suck ass (exception being Dark Knight this year) but 2007 was far from a shitty year.

All of those were at the very least good (in my opinion) with the ones in bold being some of my favorites from 2007. I'd say it was a pretty good year and that's not even really counting indie and foreign releases.

Zodiac, Eastern Promises, Into the Wild and Ratatouille were decent. Overall I thought the quality of movies lacked big time last year, just my opinion though.

Yeah the ones not in bold I thought were decent to good. I loved Ratatouille though lol. Thought Into the Wild was really good too.
If you haven't seen The Orphanage you should check it out. It's a great film.
And yup...like I said before it's all opinions so whatever. I just like seeing others opinions and discussing them.

The Orphanage wasn't a bad movie...I liked it.

I've seen Amores Perros and it is a great movie. I've never seen Y Tu Mama Tambien but I've heard about it, I think lol. That's the one with the two teenage guys and the older chick right? Any other Mexican movies you could recommend? I just saw La Otra Conquista a few weeks ago and that was a great movie. It came out on DVD in American last year but the actual movie is from like 1999 or 2000.
