Just to add to what others have posted

Wide receiver Javon Walker, an offseason addition of the Oakland Raiders, was hospitalized after an apparent attempted robbery in Las Vegas.

Police spokesman Bill Cassell says in a statement that Walker was taken to a hospital with "significant injuries" after being found early Monday on a street off the Las Vegas Strip.

Cassell says Walker remains in fair condition at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

A Raiders spokesman said the team was "in the process of gathering information" and had no further comment.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reported that he was seen Saturday night partying at the Wynn casino, spraying the crowd with bottles of Dom Perignon.

Walker signed a six-year, $55 million deal with the Raiders after a down year last year with Denver, where he had 26 receptions for 287 yards.

dumb ass nigga probably got butt raped and now he'll probably get the business in the black hole if he can even put on a uniform. First Al Davis' dumb ass over paid this injury prone mother fucka, now Walker goes off poppin bottles and getting knocked out unconscious with "significant injuries."

Once again the Raiders organiztion takes another tumble down the hill.

Its sad because I really wanted to see the Raiders do well. Thats not going to happen if Al Davis is still calling the shots.

I wonder how serious Walker's injury is.

SOUNDS LIKE HE GOT DRUNK, GOT CAUGHT SLIPPEN, GOT KNOCKED OUT AND THEN ROBBED.

I JUST HOPE IT DOESN'T EFFECT HIS PERFORMANCE ON THE FIELD.

OTHERWISE, I'M NOT TRIPPIN TOO HARD. THIS COULD HAPPEN TO A LOT OF FOLKS. HE SHOULDN'T HAVE STRAYED FROM HIS FRIENDS.

Raiders' Walker apparent victim of robbery

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker was found unconscious on a Las Vegas street early Monday morning, the apparent victim of a robbery.
The police report of the incident says that officers responded to a report of a downed man at Winnick Avenue and Koval Lane in Las Vegas at approximately 7:19 a.m. local time.

They found an unconscious male, who was then transported to Sunrise Hospital with "significant injuries." Walker remained hospitalized on Monday night.

Las Vegas television station KTNV confirmed that the Walker listed in the police report was indeed the professional football player.

Walker was released in February by the Denver Broncos after a knee injury cut short his season. He then signed a six-year, $55 million contract with the Raiders, hoping to recapture the magic that made him a Pro Bowler with the Green Bay Packers in 2004 and helped him to 1,084 receiving yards for Denver in 2006.

As a huge raider fan...... I have 2 questions:

1: Did this have anything to do with him being a snich in that murder case?
2: If so, and they end up killing him...... does he affect the cap???

But I do hope he gets better.
Well at least we now know yoo know nothing about some of your players being a huge raiders fan.

Walker never snitched..in fact he gave very little details about the group that was causing the problems in and out of the club, and at times didn't even mention everyone that was in the limo or thier party as well.

He was very useless in the case of the D Will murder investigation.

This is all bad! I hope he's alright and I hope he fully recoverds but Walker needs to be more responsible especially after signing that contract. You'd think he would have learned from the Williams situation.... I agree with Al Davis our whole season was pretty much ridin' on his health. Now we're in trouble if he doesn't fully recover in time!

Like I told you all before...he is selfish, and cares not about teammates but only of himself!

Well it's looking you are right so far even though we don't know the full story yet. But why even put yourself in a risky situation when you just signed a fat contract and the whole offense is depending on you? This is crazy....this cat gotta be more responsible.

He has to be way more responsible but he's not...hell take this story for instance...he was in vegas spraying people with champagne...THAT'S HOW THE D WILL INCIDENT STARTED!!! Does his dumbass not learn..his he slow...or just really that self absorbed? And for someone not in game shape yet you would think he would worry abour conditioning instead of partying....maybe thats just me though.

Al Davis gave a nigga that caught 26 passes last year 55mill? He could of gave me that money.

Over paying a nigga who's game is slipping is retarded. Al Davis is no better then Daniel Snyder of the Redskins.
