I'm surprised to see so many mixed reviews with this album. Seems like everyone is either diggin it, or not diggin it, nothing really in the middle. It makes me wonder how high some of your guys' standards are...Not every single album released by these artists are certified "Illmatic" or "All Eyez On Me" or "Chronic" status. I gave it a few spins already and the album is definitely hot. The production is top notch, some of the most consistent I've heard on any album this year. It had a very current sound to it, not early 2000's or even late 90's, and not ahead of it's time...The lyrics are there, some of the punch lines and metaphors were weak for a Jadakiss project, but still. I didn't skip any tracks, I just sat and listened without any pre-conceived notions. The only track I aint really feelin is probably "By My Side" feat Ne-Yo, but I understand why he did that type of song; You can sorta compare it to that new Busta Rhymes/T-Pain song, it's complete garbage but you can understand the point of it.... I would probably give this album a solid 8/10. I don't recall there being any auto-tune either.....that's a bonus..LOL.

LMAO, yeah. I ain't understand what you was talkin bout when I first read this thread yesterday. I heard the album now. I swear I thought that was Fiend on "Something Else", but I don't see his name in the credits.
that is Fiend, he produced the song

oh yeah and Jada did have some songs with Auto Tune but they didn't make the album, 2 that I heard, but they both slap like fuck and shoulda been on the album

the album is dope, I think my expectations were just too high for it though after having to wait so long, and his last album is so classic to me it's a high standard
