Ay cuzzin, do you write regularly for that magazine HHC?

I used to get that shit the whole time, I got every single damn issue from 94 to about 01 stacked up in boxes somewhere, but it fell the fuck off, hows it now, I ain't checked it for a minute?

I gotta say I'm surprised to hear a Bay Area cat is going to be up in that, what kind of space you getting for the interview, is it just going to be a small column or are we talking pages?

I gave up on that shit since they never covered West Coast acts and were on the nuts of some of the weakest mainstream artists, the whole thing gotta boring and gay as hell.

The final straw came when the actually bothered to review the new Click album (first mention of the Bay in about 3 years) and the reviewer spit a lot of ignorant shit.

I think the fool spelt a couple of names wrong, explained how Celly Cel was a member and tried to sound like a smart ass but came off actually not knowing shit.

I stopped then since I was no longer reading anything I didn't know, but was reading a lot of bullshit I didnt care about... so what bay cats been up in there since. Or is Jack the first?

Lemme know playa, I'm hella interested to hear how the magazine is now.

I have had a west coast page in there for the last year, basically running through new releases from Bay to Sac, some Seattle and Mid West. I gave Jacka the best album of last year as well...

HHC has changed a bit, but i think it had to bc rap has changed so much, i used to buy it back in 88, it was one of the first ever rap mags in the world

it now covers a broader range of music, they have some writers who deal with dirty south some on the rucksack hip hop and some on the mainstream, i try and cover the west coast. Due to my input It was the only UK mag that ran a piece on the loss of Mac Dre.

I interviewed Red Head Steve from Seattle and the Jacka is my second interview, i dont have any authority at the mag but the sub editor recognises im bringing some different artists

Jacka interview will be about half a page, i hope people check for him, it will be out in March.

Any artists looking for exposure over here in the UK with genuine product to promote (actual pressed up cds, not just a myspace sites) holla at me and i'll see whats up for the next issue.

My homie is doing Jacka's PR over here - anybody wanting to hire a good UK PR team www.parkstreetpr.com

Damn mayne thats savage, can't believe that Dre got covered in HHC AND y'all have a page to speak on new releases out the bay, that's large, someone get me to a newsagent!

Will definately check that Jacka interview, and by the sounds of it I better find the back issues page, I need to see some of those copies you've been blessing.

That's a trip you giving Norcal and West coast cats that exposure, major props on that, maybe one day people over here will stop looking at me funny when I play a bay tune lol.
