Jayo used to be one of the best and he just allowed himself to fall off. Buzz killed. Nobody to blame but himself. He needs to stop waiting and start putting in work because I would still be open to listening to him but I ain't the 12 year old kid that used to bump his raps... now I wanna hear some fly shit.

It's like he has the "over" swagger these days trying to prove what a legend he is... and I respect his place in rap... but whenever people overdo it it's not a good look. If he chilled out and made some cool music it would be straight but he has overtime to do because he left the game for 10 years without putting out shit ... people will forget you and move on... shit "Take a Ride" was one of my favorite albums ever and when did that come out? 95???... I remember it took him like 3-4 years to come out with his next album with "what you gonna do" and aside from a few tracks I almost threw that shit out the car it was not crackin in my opinion! Would be nice to see a turnaround but I don't know if it's possible...

i remember on an old interview he said he had enough material to release 4 or 5 albums. But he said u wouldnt release until someone gave him a deal that he would be 100% satisfied with. and then he started talkin about how he didnt want go to jail because there was whole bunch of gay dudes in there. i thought it was funny when he said that his lyrics were hard enough to get the gay convicts and rapists off his ass if he were ever to get locked up.
