^I'm guessing strange... I would think since the budget for billboards also contained how many samplers were pressed, the amount of online promotion and such for myspace and other online places that strange is paying for all of it. I don't think Fontana pays to have samplers, flyers, and billboards made.

That's pure speculation by me but I'm not sure.

Because Fontana has to make the pitch to retail stores. Thus, they inform the stores of what kind of promotion is going into the album as a selling point.

I think this is Strange Music's budget not Fontana's it doesn't make sense for Fontana to be paying for these things since their task is to distribute the album to retailers not streeteam for the label.

I'm pretty sure Strange foots the bill, not Fontana... in order to get a distribution deal, one thing you have to do is show the distribution company that you can properly promote your album...
