2 things from this episode:

1. The hooker in chris' room he said something like "you've got the greatest tits" and she says "thanks honey", i literally said out loud "and that there was the pinkle of her acting career". You know that’s the most lines and screen time she’ll ever have from here out.

2. When Ben Kingsley turns to dude and says something like “murma that’s an interesting name, what’s the lineage?” and he goes “when I was a kid I had a heart murma” oh man that cracked me up. Probably the funniest moment of the season thus far.

I was surprised it was a good episode.. I knew they were going to take time off of the whole "Vito" situation, and I didn't think it was going to be good, but it was.

Was dissapointed that Chris broke sobriety, though.

i changed my mind about this episode after watching it again. The way i see it, the whole episode did nothing for the story. Unless artie kills someone, that whole story was a waste. Who cares about making a movie, it was kinda funny, but meant nothing. Rusty got killed, but who cares?he was never onthe show, hes new york, and everyone knew he was done. so id say this is down there with episode 2 for worst of the season. I think i was just blinded by the hottness of that stripper. Judging by that commercial next weeks is gonna be INsane.

1. Artie is an integral part of the show and so is his restaurant. Think about how much of the story takes place there. If the atmosphere changes, they stop kickin it there, the place goes out of business – that will have a huge effect on the show.

2. developed the strain in chris & tony’s relationship

3. developed the new york / new jersey storyline (you think rusty getting clipped isn’t going to have an effect?)

4. chris hasn’t been able to fully cope with the loss of his fiancé or his drug problems

that’s like saying all those episodes with feech were a waste just because he ended up getting sent back to prison. silly

well i do agree with that chris thing, i was over looking the drug thing. I figure this "second chance" thing will come into effect, maybe chris will get all hopped up on coke and do somethin dumb and tony doesnt kill him? I wasn't saying artie isnt an important character, just that the given story line between him and bennie didnt do anything to advance the story, its like in season 5 when paulie's mom had trouble with her nursing home friends, that whole thing was a waste, except when he robbed that one old lady, that scene was awesome. The new york thing, i dont think it was that big of a deal, you knew it was gonna happen since the wedding episode, they could of killed him that week instead of dragging it out for three episodes. The feech line did a lot because if nothing else, it showed how the mafia had changed, old school guy comes back and doesn't fit in anymore, so they don't know what to do with him. Also, a conflict to that degree not ending in a killing, it was very different.

the Artie and Benny thing was important because it effects tony. his relationship with a long time friend is effected, his biggest non-mob hang out is effected, etc what happens if artie's place goes out of business and artie's not on the show anymore, would you say this episode was not intigral to the general story anymore? at this point i think it's too early to call and should be approached as it's effect on tony. its also a way to show bennie becoming a more important character.

chris has lots of issues that come into play with tony beyond the drug use. his fiance, the movie thing, him at one point being the guy that was going to run the show with tony saying everything through him.

rusty - come on its Frankie Valli he's gunna get special treatment as a character
