They were arguing on ig yesterday about copyrights... wax took it down after asking to meet face to face
Pretty sure I get it:
-Non stop sold or leased his publishing for an advance of $
-Those companies are usually very aggressive about getting every penny from every song the artist is involved in, because that's their job
-They asked spotify to take down the songs until a-wax gave them mechanical royalties for all songs that had non-stop production
-A-wax thought (who knows here I'm assuming) they had a deal where he had already paid for or compensated him for these songs. So now he felt slighted that this company was coming after him for $ on songs that he thought (and maybe he does) he owned.
That's what I got from the 5 minutes I spent skimming instagram comments. Correct me if I'm wrong.
What I was pointing out is the hypocrisy of what gets erased and what stays on BART. Someone can literally say they're going to kill an artists mom and make up all kinds of shit and that stays. But a post about something A-wax said on instagram gets deleted immediately. I'm a fan of everyone involved , just pointing that out.
