Even if you have 3 big guys in your face, not all three of them have theyre hands in the way of the ball, theyre just bodies in the way, meaning not all of em are a threat to stop you. Plus you're going to have 3 wide open players from the people that theyre guarding, giving u a chance to dish it off for a dime.

Well see here is how thw NBA works, listen closely. When a team is planning on shooting a 3 or from deep, they pass the ball around untill someone is open enough to shoot the ball without a problem. I wouldnt be guarding a player who doesnt shoot 3's very well, too closely, so when they pass the ball to him, hes going to be somewhat open. So to answer your question, its far easier to shoot a 3 when your somewhat open then what i said before. If you dont understand this, i might explain it again. Anyoneone who can shoot the ball decent, can shoot a 3. Not everyone can drive to the lane. If they could, dont you think there would be higher team fg%?

i been reading through all this....but the real thing to focus on is being missed.....Nitro, the problem is, Kobe is GIVING UP the 3-point shot....o-k, the guy isn't a "3-point threat"...but after he hits his first 3, 4, 5 ...shouldn't you get in his face??..and since you got these other players 6-7ft. that we don't wanna drive on...then why doesn't kobe get in the persons face knowing he has people behind him to back him up??
