Only smell I don't get used to is the urine smell in many bathrooms, that is so strong, that you can smell it through the whole building. My fav restaurant here has some awesome food and is cheap, but their toilets smell so bad, that you have to try to catch a table as far away from it as possible, so that your food doesn't taste like urine lol

I had free chicken & free beer today at work. plus someone said they buyin lunch tomorrow, so I'm finna have a sammich when I come into work.....beer may work its way into the equation somehow.....plus one of my managers owes me lunch and I'm tryin to get him to treat everyone on friday, plus my other manager said he's coppin beers on friday.

In the city I live you can get some hash. Many of my friends smoke. There are people here from all over the world who used to smoke that good shit, but here you take what you can get. It gets you high...
In some bigger cities you can get some good shit. Like Shanghai for example. Pakistani dude here is the drug dealer for the foreigners.
Chinese people don't really fuck with weed/hash. They are more into k, speed, meth, and shit like that. Been to clubs were you get delivered that shit on a platter.
China is a crazy country. Another guy from the Sicc came to China for a couple weeks/months. He can also tell you some crazy stories...

Shouldn't be a problem I think. You just have to go to the Chinese Embassy and get a visitors visa. Easiest to get it in Hongkong. Takes one day. In other countires it might take a little longer or is more expensive.
And Hongkong is a nice place to visit as well. Spend two days there and then take a flight to China.
Oh, and I'm in Xiamen, 50 minute flight from Hongkong. Best city in China. I have a couple friends here from Holland. Of course we make fun of each other all the time, but all in good fun.
