To make a good national hit it has to appeal to everyone, if its too Bayed out then people in New york ain't gonna feel it and vice versa. its good to represent where your from but don't over do it. Theres no set formula though

Its a little known fact that the NWA song "Boyz in the Hood" was originally gonna be done by Ice Cube but was cut cuz it was to LAd out and they had eazy do it
