no thats different. gilroy is not part of the bay at all lol.

it dosent go by area code cuz if it did then every part of the 707 (for example) would be considered the bay. then even way up in humboldt and mendocino county even though they are waaay up there and they aint the bay at all.

Yes San Jose is considered "The Bay", but it feels like LA. I do not like the vibe out there. Thats just me. I like small inner cities and towns. San Jose is just a bit too big for me.

ive always considered the san jose as part of the bay.to me its like every city that is connected to another city in the bay without space in between is part of the bay.if you have to drive on a freeway wit a bunch of open lands to get to that city then it aint the bay.with exception to vallejo

i dont care dude! san jose is part of the bay although geographically the bay is all the countys surrounding it. but usually the "bay" type culture is the area codes and waterfront citys. definetly 510 AND 415 (141510) would be the heart of what you consider the bay
